At 56, I can commisurate with the senior advisers of the McCain Camp who may be experiencing intermittent hearing loss, sight blurriness and concentration irregularity. In sympahty then, allow me to reach out to my aging brethren: "Hey guys, read my lips- IT’S..... SARAH ....PALIN ....STUPID!---BUY. ..TV. ..TIME. ..AND. .LET.. ..HER... ADDRESS... THE..NATION!
Gentlemen, with all due respect, please try to focus:
* Commands media attention- Governor Palin drew 70,000,000 to the vice presidential debate. Recently, the Washington Post published the hard evidence that documents the media’s obsession with her. - "Palin’s A Media Hit? You Bethcha.". - Can we agree that she commands media attention?
* Best Speechmaker- This from Patrick Healy of the New York Times (thata's not a misprint, NY Times)- "Ms. Palin has emerged as the most electrifying speechmaker among the four politicians on the major party tickets." Can we agee then that she gives a mean speech?
* Professional Communicator- By profession, she is trained in broadcasting. Richard Greene, a communications experts, said this: "She is so charming and so media savvy. When she has a script, she will completely seduce America." (here ) Can we agree, Ms. Palin is a professional communicator?
* The Likeability Factor- Consider the grudging respect of her detractors, here Tina Fey asserts : "And that lady [Palin] is a media star. She is a fascinating person, she’s very likable." And even as far away as Australia, we read: "According to a Daily Telegraph poll...2663 people. 44% would love to invite Mrs Palin around for a barbecue... Senator Obama was also popular, with 37 per cent...2% Senator Biden." (here ) Can we agree then that she likeable?

Don’t take McCain with you. It doesn’t look nice when you have to bring Dad to school to protect you.

Respectfully, my friend, I know what you’re saying. But, get her on unfiltered. You know- like when the Presidents address a nation. Can you imagine that? Her communications skills, one on one with the nation. She’ll have a huge audience. She’ll seem Presidential- and she’s the best at doing it. This is the stuff of presidents.
