So talk radio personality and well known Philadelphian Michael Smerconish has endorsed Barack Obama. While this is completely within his right to do so, Smerconish has lost all credibility and has proven himself to be a man without integrity.
One of the greatest causes he has championed has concerned the continued incarceration of convicted murderer and death row inmate Wesley Cook, AKA mumia abu-jamal. Smerconish has been a crusader in reminding people of the vicious murder commited by Clark when he murdered in cold blood Philadelphia police officer David Faulkner. Clark has been embraced by the left and other organizations as a falsely imprisoned man put in jail because of his race even though countless appeals have reinforced the initial verdict of guilty.
The support Smerconish has given the Faulkner family has been amazing. The actions he has taken in defense of Faulkner's memory and in the name of the justice system of this country are worthy of the highest order of praise. Sadly, he has thrown that all away.

I wonder if Smirky got a job offer from the Messiah.
Any bets on how long it takes for Barry to pardon Mumia ?
After all, he doesn’t seem to have a problem with cop killers like Mrs Bill Ayers aka Bernadine Dohrn.
Normal people would spit in their faces , Obama tells Michelle to chill the bubbly ,
Bill and Bernie are coming over for drinks .
Don’t forget the Iranian caviar!
Maybe Smirky wants to save his job once the Fairness Doctrine is instituted.
It makes you wonder how some people can wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and not cringe
He must not remember the poem First they Came.
Bingo! Although he'll probably go the way of Airhead America, ratings wise.
I used to listen to Smerconish until Bennett's show came to Philly - I occasionally tuned over during commercials after that ... obviously now that's no longer an option. I wonder how long it will take for him to start advocating for Mumia and to throw Mrs. Faulkner under the bus, now that he's joined the moonbat parade.
Hmmm? Weird stuff. D this happen over night?
I simply was poking around the AM on the net for the Phils broadcast ~ I can’t find it ~ and I find out that Smerconish has turned into a pod.
My cousin in Philly was always chatting up this guy and I knew a little about him.
I thought this was kind of odd, especially and as is mentioned, in light of the Wesley Cook stuff. I would think that Obama already has a known position statement on Mumia?
Smerconish would support this? What a shame.
