Barack Obama likes to refer to himself as a Christian. He is fond of quoting scripture when it suits his political needs. And he refers to anyone that questions his professed Christian faith as racists that are trying to distract the American people from the issues. But Senator Obama is the one trying to deflect our attention from probably the most important issue in this election. His character.
What follows is an examination of Senator Obama's character based upon his record as a public servant. It is not a smear job. I am merely stating facts from open records available to anyone. While I am sure his Truth Squads will attempt to dispute what is written, they can't hide from the facts derived from Senator Obama's voting record.
Let's first allow Senator Obama to describe his faith, what being a Christian means to him and how it informs his life.
Q. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU TO TRUST IN CHRIST AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN ON A DAILY BASIS? I MEAN, WHAT DOES THAT REALLY LOOK LIKE?A. BUT WHAT IT ALSO MEANS, I THINK, IS A SENSE OF OBLIGATION TO EMBRACE NOT JUST WORDS BUT THROUGH DEEDS THE EXPECTATIONS THAT GOD HAS FOR US. AND THAT MEANS THINKING ABOUT THE LEAST OF THESE. IT MEANS ACTING -- WELL, ACTING JUSTLY AND LOVING MERCY AND WALKING HUMBLY WITH OUR GOD.
Thinking of the least of these is from the Book of Matthew in the New Testament. Here is the passage to which Obama refers.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
So if this is what Obama professes he follows, just what actions has he taken to fulfill this promise?
In the Illinois state Senate, he opposed a bill similar to the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which prevents the killing of infants mistakenly left alive by abortion. And now Obama has oddly claimed that he would not want his daughters to be "punished with a baby" because of a crisis pregnancy -- hardly a welcoming attitude toward new life.
It certainly seems as if Obama's deeds do not match his words. But perhaps there is some reason for this. Maybe he has a philosophical difference with Christian faith. Or just maybe he feels he is not a worthy vessel to live by the faith he proclaims to follow.
AT WHAT POINT DOES A BABY GET HUMAN RIGHTS IN YOUR VIEW?A. WELL, I THINK THAT WHETHER YOU ARE LOOKING AT IT FROM A THEOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE OR A SCIENTIFIC PERSPECTIVE, ANSWERING THAT QUESTION WITH SPECIFICITY, YOU KNOW, IS ABOVE MY PAY GRADE.
So he admits that he isn't up to the job of determining when life exists. He must have lived a deprived life in all those exclusive private schools. I was taught the basic fundamentals of biology when I was in grade school. It's not only beyond his pay grade, it apparently is beyond his moral integrity as well. The record seems quite clear.
Jesus would swat him with cat-of-nine tails.
Jesus would not vote for a man who argues on the floor of the assembly against a bill that provides basic human care for a baby who survived an abortion. Obama is evil.
It’s hard to envision Jesus emphasizing politics based on his first go round, but . . .

How is Obama his ‘brother's keeper’? He lets his step brother live in abject poverty while he lectures everyone else about not letting the government take more from them.

Just a stupid question. Voting for someone suggests he has faith in that person. Jesus loves Barak, but does Barak believe in the Word of God?

Jesus wasn’t concerned with who would sit to His right or left in the Kingdom - I doubt He is concerned about this selection either.
Obama is a secular follower of Christ. He sees him as a historical figure but not THE Savior and has stated that sin is when something does not pass his own value system.
He doesn’t cling to religion because he views the institution of religion with skepticism that he got from his mother.
He doesn’t GET IT.
Why would Jesus vote for anybody????
