Here is video of Tom Brokaw on the Charlie Rose show, October 31, 2008, prior to the election of Barack Obama as President. In this clip, two things are revealed:
1. Brokaw would be willing to serve in an Obama administration
2. Brokaw's name was on the potential Vice-Presidential list for Barack Obama

Judging from his comments on Charlie Rose, he would have been a great choice. He certainly isn’t any kind of a news man any more.

Brokaw is just as, if not more qualified to be POTUS than Hussein.
I believe this was suggested almost a year ago.
You know when a candidate’s staff floats a bunch of names in order to get a headline or attention of their fan base or group represented.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him be named Secretary of the Interior.
