Well, not as bad as Carter, but there's a lot of truth in that.
A lot of what's said about Bush focuses on his dignity, which is a fine thing. But he doesn't seem to be much of a force in the country lately when leadership is needed, and that's not a good thing.
His reputation will rise after he leaves office, but there are real limits on how high it will go.
Wrong. History will be incredibly kind to GWB....Much like it has been to Reagan. Both will be remembered very fondly.

Jimmuh Cahtuh was a complete and abysmal failure of a president, both foreign and domestic. Bush did a superb job overseas, from Kyoto to the WOT. And he did plenty of things right at home too from taxes to not punishing business with global warming nonsense.
We’re still paying for the Cahtuh years.
