Here is video of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal talking with NBC's David Schuster about what the Republican Party needs to do to win again in 2012. Jindal is a very impressive person. He needs to continue to raise his profile nationally with appearances like this and policy speeches over the next two years if he wants to run for the GOP nomination. . . . . (Watch Video)

Bobby Jindal, is someone I could EASILY vote for an dbe genuinely excited about.

He’s right. The GOP screwed up.

1. GOP actions for th eelection did NOT match their record.

2. Corruption must be rooted OUT.

3. We need to get back to CONSERVATIVE solutions and principles.

Bobby Jindal is a aharp cookie.

He’s right about what went wrong.

I’ll be keeping my eye on him. So far, I think he’d make a good President. McCain ... well ... he’s a RHINO - THAT is what is killing the GOP - RHINO’s!

Jindal seems to think government is the answer, too. Why should we expect the government to be concerned about how we are going to pay for the next visit to the doctor? Why do all these politicians think it is the government’s duty to “create jobs?” They all sound the same to me.

He is indeed.

Let’s all put aside our 2008 differences (and our favorite candidates) and move forward to 2012 with a new slate of actual conservatives!

If I remember correctly, he was Governor when this was proposed. He couldn’t of voted for it.

I really want to see him as the standard bearer in 2012. He has the best combination of intellect, ideology, and electability of anyone out there.

Because people are concerned about it and unless we give them a clearly articulated, small government, private sector, way of getting proper answers to their worries, we’ll lose out to the big government Democrats every time.

Government, like it is everywhere else, IS the problem in health care. If someone can articulate that and articulate a plan to fix it, we’ll have some ammo for our candidates to use.

You are correct he did vote for it.

For some reason I thought the SCHIP bill was voted on this past spring.

It has been a long couple of years. Things are starting to blur.

I just hope we can make it, as a nation, until 2012...BHO isn’t even in office yet (thank God) and so far, everything I read and hear is frightening....

I don’t want to wish 4 years of my life away...but I can’t wait until 2012 - again - if we make it.

He handled the Palin parts very well (IMO). I got a sense he knew that a trap was being set and he wasn’t going to fall for it.

Please, oh please, don't forget Duncan Hunter- he should have been our candidate. I know there are Ron Paul’ers and Romney fans, but Hunter was- and is- the MOST conservative candidate we saw this time around. Unfortunately, the drive-by’s choose our candidates... We gotta turn off our tubes.
There is much house cleaning to do, but there are a few ladies and gentlemen that need to stick around to help lead the younger faces (like me- soon) to the place we should have been recently.

Is he tall enough to be considered attractive to women overall?

He's handsome. He has beautiful eyes, like so many Indian men do. He's more of a person of color than Obama is, but that won't make a difference to stupid black racists. Truth is, more than one woman has noticed that he looks very much like John Edwards after a long vacation at the beach with no sunblock. But he probably needs to work out and strengthen that pencil neck.

I’ll say this. The GOP needs to field the first Hispanic presidential candidate. If the democrats do it first, we will be permanently screwed with hispanics.

Only if he/she is dead set against illegal immigration, otherwise, this idea is a total and complete loser!

Mike Savage claims Bobby Jindal won’t make it.

RUSHLUVER,
I heard Michael Savage say the same thing about Gov. Jindal. He said that Gov. Jindal was like Rudolph Giuliani in that he isn’t that well known West of the Mississippi. But look at Obama. I can’t think that he was well known West of Mississippi? Look at Sarah Palin in my view she was a shining star compared to her dead horse running mate.
