On Saturday, President-elect Barack Obama made official his top communications appointments, and any hopes that Obama will take a moderate stand on abortion were dashed with his appointment of pro-abortion radical Ellen Moran as his administration's all-important director of communications.
Moran is the executive director and chief strategist of EMILY's List, the nation's most powerful political action committee that focuses on increasing the number of pro-abortion women in Congress and governorships. "Early Money is Like Yeast," the group's originating name, focused on 14 races nationwide and featured them on EMILY's List website.
EMILY's List was a huge fundraising factor in pro-abortion Illinois Senator Debbie Halvorson's 11th District win over Republican prolifer Marty Ozinga.
This appointment confirms speculation that Obama will be America's most pro-abortion president thus far. And while he insists his administrative appointments are non-ideological and non-political, Moran's time at the Democratic National Committee and directing EMILY's List demonstrates the opposite. EMILY's List endorsed Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic presidential primary.
At a time when America faces historical economic challenges, we'll be dealing with a historical anti-life national agenda.

Maybe I’m being overly hopeful, but most communications direcctors do not set policy, they only promote it. Not a good sign, I agree, but I am not Douig Kmiec and didn’t expect anything better.

One was a very patriotic woman who had no idea about his stance against the born alive infant protection act until I told her in person the saturday before the election. She considers herself an independent. I also told her he wasn’t very patriotic. I don’t know if she voted for him or not.

I’m not surprised. Abortion will lead the way to destruction.
I plan to be in contact with my state representative to voice opposition this this appointment. EMILY’s List is one disgusting, vile pro-choice organization.
Not to mention over half a million "true conservatives" voted for Boob Barf after he sold his soul to the Losertarian Party and ABANDONED his past support of the unborn.
Yeah, they "sent a message" about that issues they support, all right. I hope they're happy with the result.
