What's Wrong With Shoppers?

I remember as a kid hearing about a Who concert in Cincinnati, in which 11 people were trampled to death as the doors to the hall were opened. I was appalled: What would compel people to run over top of other people? It was just a concert! Not a fire. Not a shooting in a crowded place. No one was trying to get away. They wanted to get IN!

I’m a little more cynical today but no less appalled to hear that 2,000 people bum rushed a worker at a Long Island, NY, Wal-mart on Black Friday, so they could be the first to get a good deal…on a new TV or an X-box they probably didn’t need anyway…and no doubt add to revolving debt they’ll never pay back.

And will no doubt be cheaper in a few months anyway.

It’s not the customer’s fault, it’s the fault of our capitalist system. Once we get communism under Obama, people will be content with their government issued Xbox 360’s and jazzy new cell phones they won’t need to riot.

You are missing the point.

It's a fundamental constitutional right to get cheap stuff on black Friday, especially if you are an minority

That Wal-Mart worker was disenfranchising the shoppers who got in their way.

If couple of eggs get broken in the process, at least our constitutional freedoms are intact

Same thing would have happened at Macy's or Sak's 5th Ave

When you see the pictures of the actual “Shoppers” that were posted on another thread on this site you may get an idea why

Hint—Obama Voters

I remember that Who concert. The next day’s headline in the newspaper out there was ‘Teenage Wasteland’.

What's Wrong With Shoppers?

Remember all the stories over all the years about the bloodthirsty women fighting over a dress at a sale at Filene's?

Once we get communism under Obama, people will be content with their government issued Xbox 360’s

XBox 360s will be denounced as a symbol of the capitalist pig regimes. The Obama administration will give you a free XBox 720, which is twice as good.

Anyone that publicly mentions that it looks a lot like an Atari 2600 will be shot!

As I recall, it was a “general admission” show with no assigned seating, it was a race for the front row. Same results, too many people going after too few objects of their desire. Or in yesterday’s case, too few pieces of Chinese crap.

General admission was the norm in those days. I remember at the Spectrum in Philly the shows were called “Dance Concerts”, lol. Usually three bands. My first one, circa 1970, was Humble Pie and Black Sabbath opening for Mountain.

Easy. Liberalism is based on emotional angst. All liberals are victims. Victims never get enough breaks. They want everything given to them. They have to be first to fill their emotions. Therefor, they must be first, they will kill anyone who gets in their way to a free (sale) handout! Liberals killed him!

Yes, it was a sold out concert with “festival” seating which used to mean whoever got to th front seats first got them. I almost went to that concert we tried to get tickets but they sold out before we got them. Never so happy to have missed a concert the next day.

If you see the crowd photos before the mob rushed, you will see exactly the kind of people that live this way. Won’t be hard to find the common characteristic.

My daddy used to tell me such stories about Gimbell's. He was a buyer after he was out of army. He said during the sales like this, he would open the doors and get right out of the way as the women would fight each other over housecoats.

Now I see the problem with the article. They are shifting the focus on the wrong group in the headline.

It SHOULD read, “What’s wrong with Urban Black Shoppers?” THey are the ones that trampled over this guy and kept trampling over the EMTs and police that were there while trying to SAVE the guy.

I’m sorry, the media has deliberately blamed all ‘shoppers’ by identifying THEM as the problem when they aren’t. Can’t ever talk about the real problem, that a large section of the black community in this country lives and breeds like animals and savages and they are apparently more than happy to wallow in their own filth.

It is truly disturbing, and I am totally sickened, it truly is time to redeem the season, it is Christmas and it is about the gift from God to people, sinners in need of a savior.
