All Freepers who want to stop the Dems encroachment... is it time to call your state Senators office and tell them you are outraged that they are trying to overthrow the WILL OF THE PEOPLE?! Who's with me? I'm in MS and my Senators are Cochran and Wicker. I'm calling them tomorrow. Let's go guys!!!!

Secession belongs to a different class of remedies. It is to be justified upon the basis that the states are sovereign. There was a time when none denied it. I hope the time may come again, when a better comprehension of the theory of our government, and the inalienable rights of the people of the States, will prevent any one from denying that each state is a sovereign, and thus may reclaim the grants which it has made to any agent whomsoever.
Of course it has nothing to do with what Franken is trying to do.

That’s the only way that the Constitution can be re instituted. Ironically, John Adams, irreplaceable during the Revolution, was responsible for Marbury of Marbury v. Madison. It can be argued that the Constitution was lost after that judgment.
