Yah know? You probably don’t need to quite so heavily excerpt your own articles...

Boy what a difference ones party makes, "W" had to even release his kindergarten records.

But we can't get any school records, much less Obamah's real birth certificate.

And I'm betting in one of those records it indicates Obamah getting financial aide as a resident alien from Kenya or Indonesia.

Welcome to Free Republic (2008-11-27).

Generally, driving hits to one's own blogsite is considered a bit lame and self-promoting. FR promotes conservatism, but the forums are not intended as an advertising medium for conservative blogs.

Suggestion:

You could have just as well (or better) posted the Politico article, which is longer and more informative, and put your brief additional notes in your opening comment. If you want to avoid getting dinged for self-promotion, that's the way to go.

There are numerous reference threads on FR with regard to posting rules, forum culture, and related whatnot... search and enjoy!

Again, welcome, and enjoy your stay!

With regard to taking the Oath of Office, I'm actually more interested to see if he appends the traditional, but not Constitutionally required, phrase "So help me God".

Every recent President since FDR has done so... so unlike the middle name question, it's more appropriate to say he'll follow the tradition with the appended reference to God.

Do we really want a president named Barney Toot?

When someone is hiding something, they have something to hide.

I think what he meant by all three names..

1. Barack Hussein Obama
2. Barry Sorento
3. Zero

Even though there are several others like “President Select”... I think these three will do.

“I think the tradition is that they use all three names, and I will follow the tradition, not trying to make a statement one way or the other. I'll do what everybody else does.”

Fine. Then can we assume, Mr. Obama, that you will be placing your hand upon the BIBLE, as is the custom?
