I have HAD IT with the PC Commercials!!!!!!!!!!!!

To my Conservative Friends:

I find myself after a long day of work, trying to catch a game or the O'Reilly factor and I have to sit through commercial after commercial of the most annoying politically correct garbage there is....

It seems to be every commercial portrays the white, conservative male as a bumbling idiotic fool who can't hammer in a nail, while his Oh-so-cool, all-together wife is so calm, cool and collected and has everything figured out!!!! It is open season on the middle-aged white, conservative male. Women and minorities are off limits... The ultimate fear for companies and ad people is to be called sexist, or worse.... raaaacist!!!

I mean, c'mon, once in a while is ok and even amusing, but every time the white-male has to be made a fool of?? And who is the audience they most likely are targeting to buy their crap - is us white-males!!!!

We have all seen the PC guy/Mac commercials that portray the PC guy as an absolute fool, a little overweight, not-so attractive, while Mac guy is thin, young and sooo cool and hip (although if this is the type of guy women like, I am really behind the times - how about a shower, shave and a haircut for this hippie???)..

People are just now getting wise to this?

It's been standard fare for commercials and sit-coms since the beginnning of radio.

Fibber McGee, Life of Riley, Honeymooners and on and on.

Stumble-bum Dad can't do anything but wise Mom, and even wiser kids, can do it all.

I have to admit, as a man, I can drive a nail but it took a LOT of practice before I hug a woman and manage a four-hooker bra.

And a woman can do that blindfolded and remove it without taking her blouse off.

About time white guys started getting mad. I’ve been noticing this for quite some time. If an alien civilization monitored our TV broadcasts and then came down to earth, they’d run screaming from every white male they saw. If white males are not depicted as bumbling idiots, then they’re criminals trying to break into somebody’s home. Minorities, on the other hand, are always depicted as smart, capable, attractive people, part of loving families in beautiful suburban homes.

If a commercial is going to include “humor,” then somebody has to be the butt of the joke, and if they made a woman or minority the butt of the joke, well, we all know what would happen. I think part of the problem is that white males don’t protest, boycott, or riot. Most of them are too busy earning a living, raising their families, and just living their lives.

Also, many commercials are based upon comparisons. One character will be using the “right” product or service, while some dum-dum is shown using the “wrong” product or service. Again, they’re not about to show a female or minority as the dum-dum. This is not going to stop until it hits these sponsors in their pocketbooks.

Another way of looking at this is from the actors’ points of view. I sometimes wonder if black commercial actors ever get tired of playing boring, perfect people and yearn to play a comic or villain role instead. At least the white male actors get to be funny and to stretch in villainous roles. Probably not much consolation....

I’m also getting tired of all the commercials that are simply lying about global warming or the environment.

Like the commercial about clean coal, where instead of addressing the issue, they pretend it doesn’t exist.

I have a DVR so I can fast forward thru commercials when I watch 3rd Rock From The Sun.

Yes, the children who text all day and play video games but could not multiply a decimal or locate Philadelphia on a map are “waaaaay coooler” to market their wares to.

Schools who preach homosexuality, early sex, global warming and social “justice” WANT children to be dumbed down and robots of the limited information they are brainwashed with.

School curriculum's are made by the NEA in conjunction with groups like the RAND Corporation and The Carlyle Group. The brainwashing is from think tanks that need a dumb population to make us easier to control...TV, ads, food all are part of the plan...

It is marketing for the global plantation.

If you don't believe it worked, look at how 57 million voted for Barack Hussein Obama with the media carrying water before, during and after the election.

The dumbed-down population needs someone like Barry to provide for them, the sacrifice of voting for him to get freebies is a sacrifice in freedom. You can live for free, but only in this project or with this voucher...you can eat for free, but only this kind of food...you can send you children to school, but only this type of school...the poor, in particular, are being targeting by the Ayers/Socialist types that continue to feed the school-age children MORE Marxist, dependent thought with conditioned responses to bend emotions...I saw a study that forces teachers to GRADE children (they want to do well for the teacher) so their good grades are contingent upon giving the prescribed “collective” (Marxist/feminist) response to a question.

Example: If John has an ice cream cone and Mary asks for a bite, what should John do?

a. say no, Mary might be sick
b. say no, tell her to buy her own
c. ask Mary get a spoon and share with her immediately

The “correct” answer is C, and logically, it seems go to share, but the implicit answer that he “must” share keeps the independent streak under wraps.

The “surrender” technique is pressed onto the question, particularly with boys who are told their natural aggression and energy must be muted with conditioned “emotional” response and prescription drugs.

This is to “beat the cowboy” out of boys, and society. Sheep are easier to rule when castrated and sedated.

Really it dates back even further than that. A lot of Western humor is built on tearing down those that are in charge, and with white males in charge for so long guess whose been the target. You can track it all the way back to the Greek comedies, probably further if you’re really dedicated. People should take it as a compliment, in its own way it’s an acknowledgment of superiority, at least in societal position.

A) Women make the majority of the buying decisions in a household.

B)For those decisions that men make, the guy is seen as having it all together, including the hot wife.

Millions and millions of dollars are spent testing these ads, the only agenda at work is to sell stuff.

On the other hand, we have shows like The Dick Van Dyke Show, Father knows Best, Leave it to Beaver, The Andy Griffith Show, and even Family Ties (while you could see the liberal bias, Alex was certainly not portrayed as stupid). It has always been there, but it really has gotten worse both in quantity and egregiousness.

Has anyone else notice that nearly all voice-over work seems to be the same black guy? (Think Verizon) Nothing wrong with that as such, but all the sudden, the same guy is doing everything from commercials to the official documentary voice of NGC, HC, Discovery Channel, and all the rest. Good voice and all but what has he done with the other people in the biz? Lock box?

My wife is WAY more mechanically inclined (her Dad was a contractor). I just do the dummy stuff that required low skill (yard mowing, mulching, garbage collection, carry heavy stuff, shopping from a list, etc.).

She is the engineer, I am the laborer.

I can understand where my “place” is, but the constant negative media images conjure up the hidden political agendas of Madison Avenue.
