Mark Levin, Weekdays from 3pm - 5pm

Mark Levin, Weekdays from 3pm - 5pm

I figured KSFO was about to do that.

Unless my local station changes, Levin is aired delayed from 9PM to 11PM.

I am a fan of both Savage and Levin. I usually get good KSFO reception year-round so if Savage has BO I'll listen to Levin twice.

Ear worm...How much is that doggie in the window.

This is great news!

Hannity will be live in the Bay Area now, and so will Levin.

If you want to hear Dr. Laura live, East Bay listeners can still pick up 650AM (KSTE) from Sacramento.

I see that they also moved Brian Sussman up one hour. This should make it easier for him to fill in for Lee Rodgers on Mondays. Too bad they didn't bring back Melanie Morgan. The Morning Show still has the best interviews, but the banter between Rodgers and Tom Benner is a little weak at times.

Weiner Nation will probably be off the air in an year after everyone leaves KNEW from 3-5 to hear Mark Levin.

Lee Rodgers is too old and crotchety. I thought he had the perfect amount of oldness and crotchetyness 5 years ago but now it’s a little bit much.

Is it still:

Hear the sounds of the City
The sounds that are heard
in San Francisco
On K-S-F-O?

I agree about Mel, I miss her. She was a good foil for the other two, she had just the right amount of goofiness. But it’s understandable that a conservative show in the Bay Area can’t support 3 personalities. The show is a little dry at times with the present duo of Lee & OV. Lee seems to be getting a little fed up with things, which I can relate to. This would be judging by how much time he’s been taking off of late. I don’t mind his crabby personality a bit, I just think he’s had it with the way things are going in this country. And I don’t blame him one bit.

RE: "How Much Is That Doggie In The Window"

Yes, I stand ready to turn the radio off when I know it's time to start that song -- I could take the Homer and Jethro version but not the regular version.

OV once described the show (while still a threesome) with Melanie off as the Caldicot Tunnel: two bores.

Agree, agree, agree! He is an excellent interviewer though, but he is way to crabby and negative. I have a hard time listening to him anymore.

I can't tell if it's old and crotchety, or just that he's still PO'd at the Republicans for Bush's second term and McCain's run for the presidency.

They announced at the time that Morgan was released, not because of the financials at KSFO (which was making a profit), but for the corporate need to make up for losses at other stations. Her contract was the first to come up for renewal, so she was the one who was let go.

That's what they said, anyway. Of course, she was also the most activist of the three, and they did lock her out of the station for a week during her last contract negotiation, so the writing was probably on the wall.

Well, I guess that Hannity is better than listening to Dr. Bitch argue with her callers.

They used to have so many good hosts there way back in the 90s, but they are the capital of boredom anymore. Paul Harvey has become so P.C. and phony that I can’t stand to hear his voice.

Savage actually has a listener?

It’s a good line up. Although I’d love to hear Mel again. I’m tired of Lee—it seems like he argues with his guests lately and talks over them.

I've listened to Lee Rodgers since he was the evening guy at KGO. When I heard that he was back from Seattle and on KSFO that was the first I'd heard of KSFO.

I'm not arguing with your assessment it's just that he's never concealed his disgust for guests who cannot express themselves well (a good example was Tuesday morning, I think it was) -- most of all he's intolerant of a guest who's promoting a book but won't answer all questions instead the guest says, it's in the book. That guest is terminated immediately.

Guests, including regulars, who don't show up are barred from the show. I think Ann Coulter was one of them and super-regular-guest Jed Babbin was almost barred but had a valid excuse.

I too would like to hear Ms Morgan back on the KSFO air again. I heard her and Mark Williams together filling in for a national host once -- I do not know how often she/they guest host.
