On January 20, 2009 circa 7:00 a.m. central time, 6:00 a.m. mountain time, gasoline prices here in the Sandhills of Nebraska were $1.64.
On January 20, 2009 circa 7:00 p.m. central time, 6:00 p.m. mountain time, gasoline prices here in the Sandhills of Nebraska were $1.89.
One wonders what happened in that half-day.
I didn’t notice how much gas went up here - yet. I guess we will see how much it does. I noticed two stations on US 183 that did not change overnight.
My first thought this morning was, “Hey, look! Two feet of snow. Global warming is over!” And then noticed my sidewalk was already shoveled too.
