Get used to that, you're going to start hearing it in your sleep.

Democrats have basically had two things to hang their hats on for the last 30 years or so: the Race Card and the Kid Card. When an argument for oppressive governmental interference can't be made on merit (can any of them?) it's time to pull out one of these trump cards.

In most cases, according to Democrats, it's all about the kids.

The ones they don't abort, anyway. It's almost like they want to give the kids a bonus for making it through that really f-ed up first round.

Watch what the Dems and Obambi do for the kids under the school choice program in Washington DC — you’ll see that they really aren’t that concerned for “the kids”. Of course, the DC public schools aren’t good enough for the Obama girls — Sidwell Friends is a much nicer environment and a much more sure path to Princeton and/or Harvard. You would think that Obama would have an appreciation for the thousands of kids who have applied for the few school vouchers that were made available to DC children — but NO, now they’ll take that very small privilege away, because it doesn’t fit to have “CHOICE” in education when you have unions and other Dem interest groups “on the line.” No, throw those kids under the bus...
