So figure this one out. Recently the Obama administration has put pressure on private companies to curtail lavish spending due to the economic crisis, and because some of those companies were receiving federal bailout funds. For example, Wells Fargo was pressured into canceling a planned trip to Las Vegas for their mortgage employees that performed well last year. They have also pressured companies into not buying new planes, paying bonuses to management, canceling employee retreats, etc. Then today Obama announced that those banks that have taken Federal bailout dollars had to put a salary cap in place for their CEO’s, at $500,000. Ok, maybe you agree with these measures, maybe you don’t. But here is the kicker:
“The House Democratic Caucus spent more than $500,000 in taxpayer money over the past five years for its annual retreats at resorts in Pennsylvania and Virginia. On Thursday, Democrats will head to the Kingsmill Resort and Spa in historic Williamsburg, Va., for the three-day planning powwow. The resort boasts multiple championship golf courses, a full-service spa and six restaurants.”
You can’t see, but I’m pounding my head on my desk (which incidentally, makes it very difficult to type). Look, I don’t care if you want to blow $500,000 on fun weekend getaways, you work hard (please note the sarcasm and attempts to stifle a laugh at the absurdity of the comment); but please, enough of the hypocrisy. It’s bad enough you tell private companies what to do, it’s bad enough you are already turning free enterprise into a Government run crap fest; at least try and pretend that you aren’t corrupt, and that you feel you are above the law and your own rules.

DemoRATs wasting taxpayer money?? Just READ their fake stimulus bill which is nothing but PORK AND POLITICAL PAYBACKS. Waste? This is beyond waste. It is national destruction.
Where's his outrage at their recent vote for salary increases, which are 100% financed by the taxpayers?

Pressuring companies not to buy planes just resulted in another 2300 jobs being cut at Hawker. If no one buys the planes anymore, the first ones hurt are the factory workers.
Shades of Jimmy Carter's "Luxury Tax" that was levied on aircraft, boats & cars (over a certain dollar threshold). It put a lot of boat builder's out of business.

Obama, and his goons, have MANY serious problems they don’t even know they have yet, but putting those aside for the sake of discussion, he has a glaring problem that I think will take him down sooner than later....
