I agree. If he had an ounce of pride--he would turn it down.
Of course, if Hussein had any decency at all and any respect at all for Gregg--he would have made this 'power grab' announcement BEFORE he offered Gregg the job--just to let Gregg 'save face'.
Gregg is shameless to accept a 'slap-in-the-face' like this from Hussein immediately after his appointment.
How about we simply remove any questions pertaining to race on the census forms? That would make a lot of sense to me. I’m sure the race hustlers would have a fit if we did.
Even FDR would blush at a blatant power grab like this one!!
Seems to be a prerequisite for elected office anymore, doesn't it?
The entire census questionaire should consist of two questions.
1. How many adults in the home?
2.How many children in the home?
Obama didn’t select Gregg because he thought Gregg would make a great Commerce Secretary .. Obama SELECTED GREGG SO HE COULD GET CLOSER TO 60 VOTES IN THE SENATE - PURE AND SIMPLE.
And .. now that Obama has the “caved” republican in his grip, Obama will usurp Gregg’s authority, and USE THE CENSUS TO GIVE THE DEMOCRATS EVEN MORE POWER IN THE GOVT.

He ought to resign before he’s begun. Nothing like a blatant insult before your first day on the job. Talk about bi-partisan “trust”. Gregg is being set up to be a fall guy.
It’s not astounding if you realise that the dems/libs already BELIEVE - WE’RE STUPID - and we NEED the dems/libs to rule us.
I believe this is one of their biggest mistakes.
And to think they said this was his "qualification" to be President.
Kommunity Organizers are nothing but self appointed radical leaders that cause trouble and unrest. It looks like Osama will succeed at that.....Hopefully it backfires on him.
Maybe Obama will dump Gregg and replace him with someone more suitable like Jesse Jackson or a twin of Hilda Solis. Gregg is finished in politics anyway, but if he’s dumped, he won’t be able to go out with his pockets stuffed with taxpayer $. Wouldn’t that be a crying shame?
