Obama Approval Rating Continues Rapid Slide
Obama's approval rating continues to drop like it's hot. Rasmussen reported today:
"Overall, 59% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the Presidents performance so far while 39% disapprove.
Todays results mark the first time that Obamas overall rating has fallen below 60% as either President-elect or President." This chart shows yesterday's slide:
Today Obama is down another 3 points in the overall spread.
Obama was at 69 (approve) to 28 (disapprove) on January 4th.
All it took was one month, a few tax cheats, expanding abortion funding, closing Gitmo, moving the US Census to the White House, putting 25,000 US companies at risk and the most expensive piece of legislation in American history to drive his numbers southward to 59-39. That's all.

59 percent is still pretty good. By 25 days in office, he should be below President Bush. lol. Can you believe he has only been in office 18 days!!! It seems at least a year. lol.
I’m still waiting for my check!
The sheeple saw a lot of horse manure last November and thought there must have been a pony somewhere. Fools.
I cant believe hes as high as 59 %. Bush was in the low 50’s by now. The effing media are so in that tank, and so freakin influential with the “casual” observer.
I'm still waiting for someone to buy my gas and pay my mortgage. Where's my free stuff!
95% of us are waiting for that big tax cut. He either gives that to all 95% or he sucks permanently. Guess which one it will be.
COMPARATIVE STATISTICS
After 9/11/01 (which for the Democrats/Obama is equivalent to the media lovefest from election day thru Obamas inaugural), President Bushs job approval rating remained above 60% thru January 2004 2 1/2 years vs 2 1/2 weeks (for Obama)!
Bottom line: It took a brutal election cycle and 24/7:365 MSM criticism to deflate President Bushs JA rating (although his personal approval rating never fell below approximately 60%). . . Whats Obamas excuse?!
The one that I posted said that his approval rating had dropped to 36 percent, don’t know why this one says 59 percent still approve of him
They’re still oversampling democrats, most likely.
Obama’s gone Bush league in three weeks’ time.
59% is too high, give it a little more time. He will more than likely be remembered far worse than, Clinton or Bush Sr. unless people are too scared of giving an honest opinion of him due to his race.
Oooh, how sweeeet it is! Keep plummeting, Mr. President. You can’t blame Bush for it now.
Obama does not wear well over the long haul. He’s starting to look small and petty and, when he denounced Rush Limbaugh, he actually diminished himself as President. The number one rule of any leader is to never elevate an opponent to your own level. Amazingly, he really came across very badly in this clip.

I’m not sure if he’s talking to fellow Dems or the press, but he looks incredibly weak. He has got to be a major disappointment to a lot of people who supported him
Sheesh, yesterday Reid warned us not to believe Polls and if he could, he would do away with them (sarc)
Not only will we not get a tax cut....very soon, Big “O” will go on national television and address the nation. I figure it will go something like this...
“My fellow Americans, I’ve worked harder than I’ve ever worked in my life to try to get you a tax cut [bites lower lip]...but I just can’t do it. Remember how I said that every American will have to sacrifice? Well....that sacrifice is coming in the form of tax increases on all Americans. And yeah, that increase will be about half of your current income. Check ya later, SUCKAS! [Zero waves goodbye with his favorite finger extended]”
I still haven’t gotten my mind around the fact that he is president. How someone so inexperienced and unqualified could become president is beyond my ability to fathom.
RandallFlagg wrote:Yes, he raised that tax by over 250%, not just a small marginal increase, but a major multiplication.
He's already raised taxes on 20% of the population last week with SCHIP.
And who got their taxes raise? More predominantly African Americans, and lower income people with less disposable income to spend.
If he screws those people with 2 1/2 times higher taxes, what's in store for businesses and the "rich" (probably anyone above the poverty line)?
