Susan Collins - Was she drunk?

RINO Sen. Susan Collins was on the Today Show this morning (no link currently available) along with Sen. Ben Nelson this morning. Collins - who along with fellow RINOS Sen. Olympia Snowe and Sen. Arlen Specter - appeared drunk when explaining the many virtues of the impending socialist stimulus bill.

Sen. Collins speaks in a sing-songy manner. It makes her sound as though she’s not all there sometimes.

In spite of the fact that she’s on the wrong side of this issue, she had a long weekend. She was probably a mo\ite tired as well.

yea, I noticed that too. She looked half asleep when we met her a few years ago too. She doesn’t do well in front of the cameras.

In her defense, it really didn’t appear to me like she’d been drinking. It appeared more like she was smacked in the forehead with a 2x4 six or seven times and then clobbered in the back of the head twice with a shovel.

I saw her on pMSNBC this morning and thought the same thing. Buchanan asked her point blank that if the House put all the spending back into Prokulus Marximus if she would still vote for it. After a long second she said “No”. they guy with her looked very nervous. In any case her speech is very odd. Wonder how she did stump speeches.

Or, God forbid, ALS. An aunt of mine died from that in 1984 and in the early stages of the disease her vocal tones and cadence dragged like that. It may be nothing, but it does strike me as odd.
