See democracy in action! Here is a Live video feed of the Orange County Board Of Supervisors starting at 9:30 AM PST.
What is this meeting all about and why is it so important?
Due to the enormous backlash generated by Sheriff Sandra Hutchens illegal actions among law abiding Orange County citizens CCW permit holders and gun rights activists, hundreds and hundreds of people are expected to attend the upcoming meeting taking place today February 10th (live video feed starting at 9:30 AM PST). Why not just recall the lame sheriff as well?
Since when is ignoring the rights of American citizens illegal in California? From what I’ve read, it’s SOP! But I do have a suggestion—claim your an illegal! That’s where rights in the People’s Republic begin!
She was not elected, she was brought from LA County and appointed to replace her predecessor, Sheriff Carona who was kicked out the job and prosecuted on corruption charges. In order to keep her job Hutchens will need to run for office in 2010.
Carona may have been corrupt, but I really liked him. Showed great leadership when that bastard Avila kidnapped and killed a five year old girl.
He also was very liberal in issuing CCW’s (liberal in the true sense of the word, not the America Hating commie sense).
Whatever. I live in Long Beach, which is on the LA/Orange county border, but still in LA county. Can’t get a CCW here for anything.
