There is NO WAY we can support all of this folly!
Don’t worry. Only Republicans will have to hold their breath.
This is not just the nail in the coffin, it IS the coffin.
Our economy cannot grow without carbon in the short term.
In the long term it could, IF we were serious about nuclear power. But we are not.
Wind and solar are money pits that will not generate the needed affordable electricity.
We should be embracing coal and our own oil, not taking it off the table.
The key phrase in the article is “auction off” CO2 credits. Who collects the proceeds of the auction? Why, the government, of course. In the short term, that is more important to them than any actual CO2 levels.
Where do they come off appropriating all “rights” to CO2 production to dole out by auction?
We need DeMint, and Sanford, and Palin, and Jindle, and Romney, and Giuliani, and all effective communicators in the party to rise up now and provide leadership against these issues. We cannot sit idly by and let this damage be done. The people must stop this now and destroy this administration.
Carbon gases are good for us and the ecology. That’s why the loons want to regulate our air.
no doubt Al Gore, and those who impose the regulations on us will be exempt from any regulations themselves.....
