How, exactly, does this improve the Obama Recession?

Cap and trade bills are nothing short of a government re-engineering of the American economy. With its aggressive targets to reduce emissions from fossil fuel use, it would put the nation on a path of serious economic harm not justified by any benefits.

Bari has to do something to help his pal, Algore. Algore has spent a lot of time and money pimping his “global warming” scam.

But if we focus on accounting gimmicks we don’t have to look at how we’re completely failing to even enable market forces to provide actual solutions.

“Obama’s Cap And Trade Energy Plan May Cost Over $1 Trillion and Up To 4 Million Jobs”

IIRC once upon a time that headline was “Clinton’s Cap And Trade.......”

The longer this guy is in office the more he reminds me of the attempts to confiscate our Freedoms that were discussed early on in the Clinton misAdministration. I see a pattern here.

Who are the Clinton’s and the Obama’s working for. Not the people that elected them.

That is a great question. I’ve been wondering, exactly who is behind the Obama curtain.

It’s all seems addly Manchurain Candidate-ish.

Except it’s not China, who is it?

Obama's Cap And Trade Energy Plan May Cost Over $1 Trillion ....

Ya know, $1 Trillion here and $1 Trillion there and $1 Trillion the week after that and pretty soon you're talking real money.

Bambi.....

"That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants are being built, they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted-down caps that are imposed every year. So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted. That will also generate billions of dollars that we can invest in solar, wind, biodiesel, and other alternative energy approaches."

He also said his cap & trade scheme is more radical than anyone suspects.

His goal is to destroy our economy as a step toward destroying our country.

this stuff would enable the algae to oil market to really take off. The end of US dependence on foreign oil would come faster.

That said, I don’t think a carbon credits program is needed to accomplish the task of growing the US out of dependence on foreign oil.

This is the fight we have to win on. We have data. We can beat this. Argument is CO2 causes global “change.” Also should include the tax on farm animals NAIS which will track and tax each individual animal driving up our food costs a lot.
