We hate to watch the Academy Awards tonight. But we have to, it’s our job. We know many of you won’t be, but if you are following us our Twitter page we’ll let you know of all the idiotic things the self-absorbed actors and actresses have to say.

Ah look, Barbara Walters just got Mickey Rourke all teary-eyed. Her first to fall victim to her tonight.

I saw the Miley Cyrus dress on another thread and wondered why she looked like she was wearing those big cabbage leaves or whatever they are.

We can do our own AA comments with just a few pieces of information. After all, the ‘winner’s list’ bootleg has been on FR at least twice. Besides, Mickey Rourke’s whatever=it-was award speech where he looked like he’s missing a tooth was about the wildest thing there is and much more enjoyable. Wish he’d do something about his “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” hair though, as it just plain looks like he doesn’t shower—or hasn’t since his dog died. I know. I am getting sentimental, but I do like dogs.

You can place a bet on how many of the winners will mention Obama.

Good idea! let’s guess. I say three say his name directly. And others mention “the new president” “ a new day”, etc of course.

With all due respect......screw that.

Patton is on AMC. A real movie when Oscars had some integrity or maybe not even then.

Die Hard is on FMC. Either choice is better than oscar.
