The ACORN gang should be prosecuted under RICO but they are receiving billions in federal loot instead.
ACORN IS the obammunist militia various alleged tin-foilers tried to warn about. With federal loot and a grass-roots network of thugs and organizers, they are already taking on a quasi-governmental status.

I’m just glad I dumped all my rental properties last summer (they where inherited, something I really didn’t want to run then) because you know blocking rental evictions will be next.
My neighbor took his house off the market. He has a farmhouse nearby but with falling values he said screw it and has decided to stay put for now.
Of course I doubt he counted on someone like ACORN who would love to strip him of his unneeded and undeserved extra home. In fact I’ve got two other neighbors in the same boat.
Did you know that ACORN in German is Sturmabteilung? (not really but it seemed similar).
Here in Lubbock there is a 200 unit minority housing complex (87% black, 9% Hispanic) that is an oasis of calm and security in a sea of crime.
How do they do it? There are basically two elements: Armed security guards and a series of lease provisions that allow the managers to fine and, if necessary, quickly evict troublemakers. Legally, the fines are civil penalties to which residents have agreed in writing as part of their original lease. The citations are issued by the security guards, all of whom are retired police or military personnel. They cover such things as excessive noise, junk cars, littering, obscene language, and criminal activity. The site manager is a complete hard-ass and she enforces these rules with an iron hand. In return, it is the only place in east Lubbock where old people can live in peace and comfort, children can play outside, and working folk can get enough rest to go about their task of building a better life.
I dread the day when ACORN and its thugs decide to target this arrangement, incited by the numerous punks and drug dealers who have been evicted over the year these rules have been in place.
The manager and those former soldiers and police officers have built that small community. ACORN might want to think carefully before meddling in the affairs of dragons.

Anyway, trying to re-take a house in most of Texas would not go over very well.
Probably stepped over that ‘no violence in posts’ rule.
If it were me, I would move into any such home I had bought. I would might “hear” a prowler, call the police and at a minimum, have them write a report that I, the owner, was residing there, and was there at a certain time, etc.
I, if allowed by law, would then post large, on the home signs that I will defend my home by force, including deadly physical force.
If someone is so foolish, crazy, or criminally intended to then break in, well, the world just might be a better place without them.
