Here is video of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel talking today on CBS News' Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer. Emanuel was his usual slick self, carefully not responding directly to most of the questions put to him by Schieffer. Even when Schieffer challenged him on some of his answers, Emanuel continued his avoidance tactics.

Emanuel went after Rush Limbaugh saying he is "praying for Obama to fail." I'm not sure I have heard Rush say that exactly, that he is praying for it, but he certainly has said he hopes Obama fails in his efforts to turn America into a Socialist country. Emanuel's comments about Rush Limbaugh come at the end of the video, beginning at the 11:50 mark. The whole video is enlightening as to the way the White House will do one thing and then say exactly the opposite. For example, talk about fiscal responsibility even while proposing a budget that would enlarge the size of government far beyond the ability of the nation to pay for it! . . . . . . (Watch Video)

Emanuel can twist and spin it anyway he wants. AMERICANS know EXACTLY what Rush meant and AMERICANS also want Bari’s risky scheme (a little liberal lingo there) to fail.

Don't miss the subtext of most criticisms of Rush's speech. Said person is desperately hoping that Rush mentions him on his show. Can you imagine what it would do to a leftist if they wrote or said what they thought was the best trouncing of Rush ever, only to have Rush ignore them? Heck the Democrats wanted Bush to fail. They didn’t pray because so many of them are not religious, but they had that yearning that Bush and Iraq be failures. Remember General “Betray Us”??? Even before General Petraeus reported to Congress, he was said to be lying about Iraq.

Heck, can we say that we want Obama to fail in socialism and porkulus policies?

Heck, I would be supportive and give Obama a ton of credit if he sent Delta Force into Pakistan and killed Bin Laden. I will support particular things Obama does if they are what I believe in. But let’s oppose him with higher taxes, porkulus bills, and the like. Most of what he does will not get conservative support.

I don't understand why this guy is the least bit bothered by what Rush Limbaugh prays for, or says on the radio, or thinks about. What difference does it make? They won the election, and they get their hands on the levers (some of the levers anyway) for the next four years.

I think these bozos expected all opposition to just dry up and blow away. I know this: if it were possible for them to round up the opposition and throw them in prison, they wouldn't hesitate a second.
