Here is video of Sen. John McCain hammering President Barack Obama on the floor of the U.S. Senate yesterday for his failure to keep his pledge to not sign legislation that contained earmarks. McCain said he is angry about the huge omnibus spending bill that contains 9000 earmarks that Obama supports. Democrats are using the bill to hide thousands of earmarks and pet projects. . . . . The American people tuned out McCain last fall. Is anyone still listening?
Not to McCain.
I tuned him out long before last fall.
A little late for the bluff and bluster Juan. Maybe if you’d had some principles to begin with, your words would actually mean something...
McCain can only whine as there is nothing he can really do other than call Obama “you little jerk.”
He should suspend his career and rush back to Arizona then sit on his ass and do nothing...
Leave it to John to latch on to an irrelevant gnat and miss the vampire sucking American blood. It’s the spending idiot.
Juan needs to beat on Specter and the ME twins.
McCain the McIrrelevant. Nobody is listening, Mr Two Faced Back Stabber.
Ping to watch later. Thanks for posting.
Who is running against John McCain? Do we have a good candidate? He is clearly losing his mind. He absolutely wanted Obama to win this election. Now he comes out and acts like he cares. What a lost opportunity that we had...
Earmarks only make up two percent of the federal budget at most. Worrying about earmarks is like straining at a gnat but swallowing a camel (if I have the quote from the Gospels correct).
What the hell is the guy doing in DC when he can get free beer at home?
at 410 Bil it seems time to call this crap quits.
McCain is doing the right thing here. He may not have been our ideal candidate, but I will not criticize him for doing the right thing here.
Frankly, he is doing us a great service by letting his fellow Seantors know that the conspicuous politeness with which they have been treating President Obama is no longer necessary.
