Well, John Can’t-give-a-straight-answer Cornyn should have thought about this when Bush was in office and he was waffling about on the Immigration Reform bill. He should also get Kay Baby lined up on this since she doens’t seem to be able to figure out that the illegals don’t vote...legally....yet.
Now he has about as much chance as a snowball in Hondo, Texas of getting Erkel to give any aid. Nope, Governor Good Hair is going to have to call out the National Guard or just issue hunting permits to the carry licensed citizens of Texas.
They should have also thought about this when they gave over a BILLION dollars to the law enforcement agencies of Mexico border states instead of struggling Texas County Sherriffs. Wonder where that money went? Do you think it might have bought some spiffy weapons for the Bandits?
Hell, Cornyn should hope Erkel doesn’t send the UN down to help them across!

This is essentially a letter asking for reinforceents sent with the knowledge that none will be forthcoming.
If I were a cartel guy, I would be very wary from here on out. We Texans are the last of the barbarians.

I think about that question every day and waffle in my answers. I read about the Great Depression and think that we have so much in this country today that things simply can't be as bad as they seem ... and then I see what is taking place in society and where the country is headed and things could not possibly look more bleak.
Wouldn’t bother me if Texas went ahead and sealed it’s borders by itself. More power to ‘em I say. It would kill me to see them wind up like Commifornia.
Truth is we may not have authority to guard our national border, but our state border, that we can do. So can California, New Mexico, and Arizona.

OMG! Senator Cornyn isn’t holding his breath is he?
I have to tell you....I was stopped by the local police last night after dark, about 8:30pm...he said I turned into the wrong lane when I made my right turn. Once he got to the car window and could see I was an middle age white female he seemed almost apologetic for stopping me...looked at my insurance and driver's license and told me to have a good evening. My husband and I both agreed he was looking for illegals with no driver's lic or insurance. I think if it had been daylight to where he could see who was driving, he would not have stopped me. So here in Dallas they are looking and taking action.
I wouldn’t be so sure about the Dallas PD.
