Here is video of former Clinton adviser John Podesta talking about President Obama's plan for National Health Care today on Fox News. Podesta was participating in the Health Care Summit being held at the White House today. Podesta asserts that Health Care in America is inferior to other Western nations, which I think is a very suspect assertion. People flock to the United States for health care for the most serious of illnesses, and a great deal of the cost of health care in America is tied to the cost of medicine and drugs, most of which are being developed here in the U.S. at great expense. Under socialized medicine, just how good would our health care continue to be, and just how many new and innovative drugs and treatments would come out of the U.S.? Questions to ponder.
What is clear is that Obama is forging ahead to seize the economic crisis as his excuse that Health Care must be dealt with now in order to unburden businesses and allow the economy to recover. He is determined to try and get his entire agenda passed under the guise of helping the economy to recover, whether it will do anything to actually help the economy or not. . . . . . (Watch Video)
