I’m not sure how people can discern that the Marines greeting President Obama are being disrespectful.
They were called to attention before the president came on to the stage. Being called to attention is a sign of respect. The Marines are showing respect - if not for the man, for the Office of the President.
At the end, they rose and applauded. They were not called to attention. Again, by rising and clapping they showed respect, if not for the man, for the Office.
We miss you W.
Sadly, when this man failed to visit the wounded in Germany and went to the Ritz Carlton gym for fun instead, that should have disqualified him from being elected.
I have to blame the GOP for failing to say that loudly and angrily, and the American peopl for being wrong.

The video and still-shots speak volumes of the majority of Marines who clearly do not like this Marxist, racist President whom they realize obviously despises them and the America they know and defend.
I apologize if I am not strong as everyone else, but I bursted out crying, when watching this video. I have loved this country ever since my Late Father and Mother brought me in 1964 from Camp Casey-Korea but I feel lost now. Is there any hope for the nation? My Father must be looking down from heaven with heavy sadness./Just Asking - seoul62.......

I was in a huge formation in the 80’s to greet then Vice President Bush. We LOVED the VP because he is a Naval Aviator. I was ORDERED to attention when he arrived and ORDERED to attention when he left.
I suppose by your definition, I despised President Bush.
I can not read the Marine’s minds, so I don’t know for sure how they feel about the man, but I do know, having gone to boot camp with a Marine DI beating me, having served with Marines and served in in a Marine squadron, I KNOW they are taught to respect the Office of the President of the United States.
Another difference is the way the Bushes treated the White House staff (both George H W and George W) versus the Clintons. The Clintons treated the staff like crap. The Bushes in comparison treated the staff almost like extended family.
That goes without saying.
Let me put it another way; The video indicated the Marines' GREAT affection for Dubya Bush, and a leery, disaffected mood over 0bama.
These guys ain't stupid - they know the score.

I had a sense that the music was there in case there was no applause. Which there wasn’t. What a putz for a president.
There is no hope as long as this empty suit is in office. He is the “cool black guy” without a clue.
Sent it to everyone I know. There was a time in this country when service was honored and those that wore the uniform were Sons and Daughters of America. We were the Proud and the Few....children looked up to a soldier with pride!!! That was the spirit of America...That was what GWBush knew! Obama does not know, he cant....You have to HAVE THE GUTS to look at a soldier in the eye and say WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER! SEMPER FI!
Be strong of heart. The one thing about america is that we succeed despite our leaders not because of them. We will cheer winners and kick the asses of losers. Obama will not take this country down, nor will pelosi. We will wrestle it out of their hands by political means and beat our way back, and people will wonder .... “ How the hell did they do that?”
It is because we are Americans, and the media is not who define us but our spirit and that spirit is larger than any one individual can articulate.
