I'm confused. Is it OK to use the Obama symbol in my bumper sticker or not?

I saw a bumper sticker yesterday:
OBAMA LIED! THE ECONOMY DIED!

I would be more worried about what some little Marxist
hippie brat would do to your car.

“Ha, ha, I like that a lot. Maybe you could change that to a picture of the Titanic?”
I agree.

Oh my MrEdd! I love that!

Of course you can use it. Even if it’s copyrighted, you can still use it for editorial comment just as a newspaper can print a picture that happens to include a copyrighted emblem.

Section 107 contains a list of the various purposes for which the reproduction of a particular work may be considered fair, such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Section 107 also sets out four factors to be considered in determining whether or not a particular use is fair:
In small print at the bottom, just put "for educational purposes only."

I’d be concerned with getting the car keyed if you drove in Austin, Dallas, Houston or along the border. Other than that, go for it!

That’s what my husband says, too. He thinks it’s risky to put it on my car.

Thank you. That is very helpful.

I prefer a simple, “Don’t blame me, I didn’t vote for the...” bumper sticker.
It fuels the imagination.

I’ll buy them and sell them as urinal blocks...... can’t think of a better ‘symbol” to drop in a urinal.

Great....
But it needs to be the Titanic or a big ship.
The Hindenburg burning with a Nazi logo would be awesome.
