Here is video of an incredible shootout tonight between Hardball's Chris Matthews and former White House Press Secretary under President George W. Bush, Ari Fleischer. The video is a 16 minute wide-ranging battle over the Presidency of George W. Bush, particularly over the Iraq War and the Economic Crisis. Again and again, Ari Fleischer corrects and generally "smacks down" Matthews for his dishonest and over-the-top statements and accusations against President Bush. That Matthews is blaming the danger coming from Iran as Bush’s fault for removing Saddam Hussein from power.....was sickening and ugly.

Chris actually admits to being a democrat shill during this video. Right near the beginning, he makes a comment to Mr. Fleischer about the condition the economy was in when “your party” turned things over to “us”.
He actually said “us”.
Case closed.
Over 300 million Americans and Matthews can’t get a million to watch. His approval rating is at an all-time low!
What he actually says is “..when your party left the country in our hands”.
So he said “our hands” NOT us.

If you didn’t post this, I would have. Ari stood up like a man to Chris Tingle. He called Matthews out on his lies and questioned his motive for lying. Matthews could only try to change the subject. It was beautiful.

The last comment did it for me as well. Frankly just from the standpoint of civility and manners, I wanted to smash Matthews right in the mouth. A bigger pompous blowhard would be hard to find in any party but the democrat party. Examples abound. Barney Frank, Chuck U Shumer, etc.
