Here is video from today of Neil Cavuto talking with famed conservative economist Arthur Laffer about how to best stimulate small business growth. As you might expect, Laffer, who was a chief economist for Ronald Reagan, disagrees completely with what Obama is doing. He believes cutting taxes is the key, and the Obama administration is only increasing future taxes for Americans with all the spending that is taking place. He used the image of Democrats being like "kids with their hands in the candy jar," unable to keep themselves from doing more and more to damage the economy with their wrong-headed philosophy. . . . . . I can believe that.
That analogy lets them off the hook. They are doing what they are doing because they know it will have bad effects. The kids and candy jar image suggests an unforeseen stomache ache. Obama and Axelrod know full well what troubles they are causing, they want things to come crashing down.
Well, maybe Obama hasn't figured it out yet, but I'm sure Ayers has tried to tell him, and if that doesn't work Soros will explain it after the fact.
