Team Obama: Incompetent or Dishonest? How About Both!
The Virginian ^ | 3/18/2009 | Moneyrunner

Jake Tapper at ABC News gives us this headline: Obama Administration: We Didn't Find Out About AIG Bonuses Until This Month

Team Obama is still reacting to Rush Limbaugh who made a big deal of this yesterday.

Maybe it's not a good idea to piss off someone who broadcasts three hours a day on 600 radio stations.

Let’s see: the AIG bonuses were public knowledge last year. But, says Team Obama, the facts were “extremely complex and not easily understood.” So they are relying on the incompetent excuse.

But Tim “only man who could solve this problems so we have to overlook the fact that he cheated on his taxes” Geithner was head of the Federal Reserve when the Feds bailed out AIG and had the bonuses in place. Score another goal for incompetence.

Then add the provision in the stimulus bill parachuted in by Christ Dodd to EXEMPT bonus payments from the caps on executive compensation. Given the fact that Dodd is a major beneficiary of AIG lobbying money, tell me if that provision was not bought and paid for. Score one for corruption and outright lying.

Of course. After all, Obummer did say that a President should be able to do more than one thing at a time ; )

and of course the lame scream media will gloss over this and accept the excuse from the White House and NEVER QUESTION BICOCK about how, with the smartest people in the world, no understand what AIG was doing?

And if they can’t understand how AIG operates, then it clear they have no idea how many things operate. Just think how “well” Bicock will run the health care industry.

I'm praying that our corrupt socialist leader is incompetent at corruption. I hope he'll be a little less efficient at looting the treasury than Pelosi is.

An example of how effective government will be when it runs the health care industry.

Why is Rush Limbaugh one of a handful of media people who can do some investigative journalism? Maybe if the idiots in the media actually investigated stuff they could sell newspapers. That’s a novel (npi) idea. Sheesh. V’s wife.

Dodd is now claiming that he was not the one that inserted that provision into the bill... once again excusing corruption with incompetence.
