I don't suscribe to the theory that BHO is some bumbling liberal idiot (like Jimmy Carter) in over his head who doesn't know what he's doing.
To the contrary. I strongly believe that BHO is a hardcore Marxist who knows exactly and precisely what he wants to accomplish and where he wants to take the country. He has already achieved many of his lofty goals: He won the nomination of the Democrat Party, he got elected president, he has a radical left dominated Congress to do his bidding, and he has already dramatically increased the size, scope, and power of the federal government with the enactment of the stimulus bill, the ominibus spending bill, and now the upcoming budget.
Of course BHO has a lot more on his legislative agenda: Expect a massive government healthcare program, government takeover of our major industies including the banking and auto sectors. Major environmental initiatives such as cap and trade legislation which will place huge taxes on utility and energy companies to be passed along to the consumer. BHO is just getting started and we would be foolish to underestimate him considering all that he has accomplished so far.
We all know that BHO's very first mentor as a youth in Hawaii was CPUSA member Frank Marshall Davis. We know that according to his own autobiography, he associated with Marxist college professors when arrived on the mainland to pursue his college education. We all know that he is a disciple and a student of America's version of Karl Marx, Saul Alinsky. We all know that his chosen profession of "community organizing" is nothing more than a smokescreen for radical left agitation. We know that when BHO arrived in Chicago he immediately began close associations with local radicals and Marxists including Weather Underground terrorist leaders Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dhorn. We know that the Muslim raised BHO joined Rev. Wright's radical church not because of some Paul-like conversion to Christ, but rather because it was the largest politically connected church in South Chicago.
Whether or not BHO was actually born in Hawaii is now almost besides the point. He is the president and he has the power to do pretty much what ever he wants given the makeup of the current Congress. He has the firm support of the urban proletariat, the clueless bourgeois suburban liberals, academia, the unions, the media, and the entertainment industry.
The failure of democracy is self evident. As I compose this I am listening to the likes of Congressmen Barney Frank and Maxine Waters grandstanding and railing as tax cheat Treasury Secretary Geithner is testifying before the House Financial Services Committee. What a sorry spectacle. That pathetic losers like Maxine Waters and Barney Frank could hold such power and influence in the halls of Congress. How degrading. So sorry. So pathetic. Is this the type of self government envisioned by our Founding Fathers?
In the beginning, at the founding of the Republic, only property owning males were permitted to vote in federal elections. The presidents were chosen by the Electoral College. Senators were elected by state legislatures. Back then the quality of our presidents, senators, and congressmen was much higher than it is today. Listen to BHO, Joe Biden, Nazi Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, Barney Frank, Barbara Boxer, and Charles Rangel. Compare them to George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Madison, Monroe, Henry Clay, Adams, Marshall, etc. Have we progressed? I think not.
The people of this country have lost their minds electing these Marxists. Democracy has been reduced to a pathetic version of an American Idol contest. Presidential candidates now routinely appear on the Tonight Show, SNL, Oprah, Letterman etc. What's up with this? What happened to the dignity, majesty, and decorum of the presidency and other high offices? Is this the kind of country we can be proud of? Is France and the rest of Europe now become our new role model for socialism?
Whatever BHO is or is not, he is no idiot. Like his father, he is a foreign virus implanted upon our land to impose his insidious socialism upon our once great republic. He must be stopped at all costs. He cares nothing about our military, our borders, our security, or the threat of terrorism. He could care less about the stock market. He wants the economy to crash and burn so he can implement his ruinous big spending policies and higher taxes. He is focussed like a laser beam on his agenda. He pretends to be be bipartisan and that he listens to Republicans and conservatives. But all he really gives them is lip service and photo ops. His goal is always the same: Bigger government, higher taxes, more regulation, and greater government control over every conceivable aspect of our economy, our heathcare, our environment.
It isn't BHO who is clueless. It's the freaking idiots brainwashed by radical left teachers unions, depraved Hollyweird celebutards and the MSM who elected this vacuous, ubiquitous, loquacious, radical, shallow, narcissistic, metrosexual, dangerous fool of charlatan who are utterly and woefully clueless.

I agree 100% that he is on a mission to take us to a full socialist state with totalitarian control in Washington. How do we stop it? I don’t know, but the momentum is building against him and his policies. The worm is turning . . . and I think that will help prevent him from his objectives.

Well written and absolutely correct, Welcome2thejungle. If wonder if BHO is in fact God’s judgment on the U.S. Much as when ancient Israel demanded a king, God gave them Saul. Our nation is demanding socialism and God is giving us what the 51%+ screamed for. Very sad to see us turn into the USSA.
All liberal-socialists are dangerous to freedom and liberty and enjoy trampling on the Constitution. The fact that Jimmah Carter was an incompetent fool is a well accepted fact. Obama may turn out to be just as unsuccessful as Carter was. Only time will tell. How long the fair minded nature of the American people and their willingness to accept failure will let this socialist adventure go on, is anyones guess. I get the impression the peoples patience is already wearing thin.

BH0 is a socialist, Marxist, whatever, following Saul Alinsky’s principles for socialists. He wants to redistribute the wealth of this great country as he stumbled and told Joe the Plumber. The big problem is that he makes Slick Willie look like a piker in the lies and PR department. He will say what people want to hear or a reasonable facsimile that sounds palatable. What Pelosi and Reid are actually doing is what HE/THEY want not what he has said. The large majorities in Congress and almost a filibuster proof majority in the Senate make it very difficult to oppose these moves.
I was very proud of the Republican caucus in the Congress for voting together to oppose the porkulus. We need to work on educating the Senators who could vote with the Dims like the two RINO’s from Maine (does Senator Susan Collins have a breathing problem as that is what it sounds like whenever she speaks?). When Senator Grassley from Iowa jumps on the bandwagon to demonize AIG execs who got retention bonuses by saying they should be strung up, we know that we have a lot of work to do.
Don’t let the Dims get away with the lies. Every Congressman and Senator should be calling Barry and his minions on all their lies. Don’t let them take control of the financial services industry because as a financial analyst working 3 blocks south of Wall St. in NYC, I don’t have any patience for Dims taking control of my company’s business, setting what they feel is “appropriate compensation” whether we get bailout money or not.

Amen. I used to be appalled by the people here who thought 0 would simply give us 4 years of Carter-style failure, allowing conservatives to make a comeback. Some still seem to believe that. Carter was a fool, but he was not borne, raised, tutored, and mentored by Marxists all his life.
And you would have thought being raised on farm in the Deep South and later serving in the military would have instilled in Carter a profound sense of duty and patriotism. Yes there is stark contrast to this and BHO’s radical bohemian upbringing.
Any predictions on how he will take over the auto industry in the long term?
I would think he could destroy Detroit and the US based companies, but we would just move to buying non-union assembled cars made in the Southern states. The “industry” would just change.
Heck, a lot of us are doing this already, but I have not been able to find out what percentage of US assembled cars are non-union.
We need to organize like they organize. We need to raise money like they raise money. We need to to do some community organizing of our own like organizing gun owners and taxpayers like they are doing at all of the tea parties. We need to start our own cultural institutions and websites. We need to have the conservative version of MoveOn.org. We need to recruit top notch and effective candidates to run for office next year in the midterm elections and vote out every politician with a D next to their name. It was Edmund Burke who once said that all that is needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. This is our call to action and we must do it now. Do ANYTHING! Call a radio talk show. Write a letter to the editor. Attend a tea party in your area. Write a check to a conservative congressman like Mike Pence or Michelle Bachmann who is actively opposing BHO’s socialist policies. There is MUCH you can do. Pick what whatever it is your good at. We NEED YOUR HELP! There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of ways to fight this socialism encroaching our land. As Ronald Reagan used to say, if not us, who? If not now, when? There is much to do and we must not watch this spectacle unfold before like passive sheep.
