Since President Obama's teleprompter was so evident at last night's White House Press Conference, above is audio of Rush Limbaugh making fun of Obama's use of a teleprompter at a party last week to honor the Irish Prime Minister. The Irish PM followed remarks by Obama, who of course used the teleprompter, and began reading his own speech. It took him 20 seconds to realize he was reading the same speech Obama had just delivered! He turned to Obama and said, "That's your speech." Obama came back to the podium and for some unknown reason wound up reading the beginning of the Irish PM's speech, which was now in the teleprompter, and ended up thanking himself, since that was in the PM's speech!
Just for fun, let's throw in Obama last week getting lost while trying to read his teleprompter . . . . . . (Hear Rush; see video)

I didn’t care to give the One any ratings last night, but can a FR explain how a prompter was used? I thought he had a big screen behind him...I guess I might have to go find some video to understand what was talked about.

From the photos I've seen, he had a big screen in FRONT of him, out in the press area, that was being used as a teleprompter. In fact there's video on YouTube showing Rahm Emmanuel using a Blackberry (I also read those are illegal for WH staff to use because their texting can't be archived) during the conference...apparently affecting what was on the screen.

It would be fun to put up a speech that trashed the Constitution & declared war on America if he were on live TV... just to see if he’d say it.

So he's gone from two little screens to one big screen. Well, he can't take that on the road very easily.
Obviously everyone focuses on the idea that Obama read the Irish PMs speech because he says whatever the prompter tells him to but the part I find curious is that when all realized that the speech Obama had just given was in the teleprompter, he went up to go read it. Again?! I mean, is this guy totally incapable of independent thought that he will read the same speech over again just because that's what's in the teleprompter even when he knows that is the case?

Funny! Except Ron Burgundy is a harmless nitwit, while Hussein Obama is a dangerous nitwit being controlled by Marxists.
I saw some flak for Obama from the MSM, maybe on CNN, claiming that Obama was clearly joking when he pretended to read part of the Irish PM’s speech, and ridiculing Rush Limbaugh for not understanding that the whole thing was a joke. This supposedly on the basis of information from a reporter who was there (who, 99 chances out of 100, voted for Obama in November 2008).
