An Investor's Business Daily blast from the past - August 2008.
Eerily prescient and almost spooky.
Barack Obama's economic blueprint sounds like one his communist father tried to foist on Kenya 40 years ago, with massive taxes and succor shrouded as "investments."
As a Nairobi bureaucrat, Barack Hussein Obama Sr. advised the pro-Western Kenyan government there to "redistribute" income through higher taxes. He also demonized corporations and called for massive government "investment" in social programs.
Writing in a 1965 scholarly paper, Obama's late father slammed the administration of then-President Jomo Kenyatta for moving the Third World country away from socialism toward capitalism. He chafed at the idea of relying on private investors who earn "dividends" on their venture capital to develop the country's fledgling economy.
"What is more important is to find means by which we can redistribute our economic gains to the benefit of all," said the senior Obama, a Harvard-educated economist.

is it true that all 4 grandparents were commies?
I guess it might have been useful to have pointed out his Leftist parents and grandparents before electing him to be President. The Bible says,”As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.”

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
I once read that BO Sr. and Mom met while “studying Russian.”
Don't know about his African side, but his American gradparents were AT LEAST "fellow travelers," who made sure their daughter was raised in the most atheistic and socialistic manner possible, even moving to a particular town in Washington state to make sure she got into the school they desired because of the Leftist teachers there. It's no surprise, then, that her son would be at least as Left-leaning as his mother. The white grandmother who just died was also instrumental in seeing to it that his "mentor" was Frank Marshall Davis, an avowed Black Communist. I don't know much about his Indonesian stepfather, though, but it wouldn't surprise me to learn he was also deeply involved in Marxism.
I guess it might have been useful to have pointed out his Leftist parents and grandparents before electing him to be President. The Bible says,As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.
I don’t think it would have mattered. No one, and I mean No on who voted for him gave any thought to his associations with terrorists, and hate preaching pastors. I don’t understand it. Turning a blind eye is an understatement!

What Barack Obama learned from the Communist Party
By Andrew Walden
Family Ties
Obama’s grandparents, Stanley Armour Dunham and his wife Madelyn are another piece of the puzzle. Key details come from interviews in The Chicago Tribune and Seattle Times.
Done bouncing around Kansas, California and Texas in the years after World War Two, Stanley and Madelyn in 1955 picked up and relocated 2,000 miles from Texas to Seattle. The next year they relocated to Mercer Island specifically so their daughter, Obama’s future mother, Stanley Ann Dunham could attend Mercer Island high school.
One year earlier, Mercer Island schools had distinguished themselves in a way which might have caused others to avoid them. The Chicago Tribune explains,
“In 1955, the chairman of the Mercer Island school board, John Stenhouse, testified before the House Un-American Activities Subcommittee that he had been a member of the Communist Party.”
After intense debate, Stenhouse decided not to resign from the school board according to an April 11, 1955 account in Time Magazine.
Stenhouse was not the only leftist connected to the school. The Seattle Times explains:
One respite (from Americans Stanley Ann Dunham looked down on) was found in a wing of Mercer Island High called “anarchy alley.” Jim Wichterman taught a wide-open philosophy course that included Karl Marx. Next door, Val Foubert taught a rigorous dose of literature, including Margaret Mead’s writings on homosexuality.
Those classes prompted what Wichterman, now 80 and retired in Ellensburg, called “mothers’ marches” of parents outraged at the curriculum.
Dunham thrived in the environment, Wichterman said.
“As much as a high-school student can, she’d question anything: What’s so good about democracy? What’s so good about capitalism? What’s wrong with communism? What’s good about communism?” Wichterman said. “She had what I call an inquiring mind.”
She also showed her politics, wearing a campaign button for Adlai Stevenson. And despite flirting with atheism, she went to services at East Shore Unitarian church, a left-leaning congregation in Bellevue.
The Chicago Tribune mentions a description of the Dunham’s chosen church as “The Little Red Church on the Hill”. According to its own website, East Shore Unitarian Church got that name because of, “Well-publicized debates and forums on such controversial subjects as the admission of Red China’ to the United Nations....” The fact that Mercer Island’s John Stenhouse, according to his 2000 obituary, once served as church president might also have contributed to the “red” label.
Obama often says his mother’s “parents were non-practicing Baptists and Methodists....” At best, Obama was twisting the facts. Describing his grandfather in Dreams (p17), Obama writes:
“In his only skirmish into organized religion, he would enroll the family in the local Unitarian Universalist congregation....”
Over thirty years later, Barack Obama would make his “only skirmish into organized religion”, joining Chicago’s Trinity United Church, inspired by anti-American church leader, Reverend Jeremiah Wright.
Obama April 6 infamously described his view of rural blue collar Americans while speaking to an audience of wealthy San Francisco donors:
“It’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
From 50 years out, the Seattle Times describes in Obama’s mother similar attitudes:
Dunham gravitated toward an intellectual clique. According to former classmate Chip Wall, she caught foreign films at Seattle’s only art-house theater, the Ridgemont, and trekked to University District coffee shops like the Encore to talk about jazz, the value of learning from other cultures and the “very dull Eisenhower-ness of our parents.
“We were critiquing America in those days in the same way we are today: The press is dumbed down, education is dumbed down, people don’t know anything about geography or the rest of the world,” said Wall, who later taught at Mercer Island High and is now retired in Seattle.
“She was not a standard-issue girl....”
The Chicago Tribune found similar comments from Dunham’s friends:
“She touted herself as an atheist, and it was something she’d read about and could argue,” said Maxine Box, who was Dunham’s best friend in high school. “She was always challenging and arguing and comparing. She was already thinking about things that the rest of us hadn’t.
“If you were concerned about something going wrong in the world, Stanley would know about it first,” said Chip Wall, who described her as “a fellow traveler. . . .”

No proof of it so far. Obama’s white, American grandparents were definitely liberals and had contact with communists within their churches, but so far their names don’t show up in any US govt hearings by HCUA, SISS, or SPCUA.
One missing bit of information is what they did in Kansas before going to Washington State, and then Hawaii.
However, Stanley Dunham and his wife definitely were friends with Communist Party member and operative Frank Marshall Davis in Hawaii, where they introduced young Obama to Davis.
It is quite possible that they had other CPUSA or sympathizer contacts in Hawaii.
Don’t know anything about Obama Sr’s first wife or his/her parents in Kenya.
Obama’s mother was a free spirit and definitely liberal, but again, nothing shows up about Communist Party/marxist contacts or ties.
It could be that there is nothing to this, or that information has not yet been found to show that any of them had communist ties (other than Obie’s father and the FMD ties in Hawaii).
Obie had many CPUSA-friends/marxists ties from David Canter and Don Rose, to possibly David Axelrod’s mother, Quentin Young, Milt Cohen, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, Marilyn Katz, Carl Davidson, Alice Palmer, Timuel Black, etc.
All these have been heavily documents at www.newzeal.blogspot.com.
“is it true that all 4 grandparents were commies?”
I think that’s pretty clearly established. The next question point is, is it true all four grandparents were sociopathic narcissists?
The horrors of Communism have not been taught in two generations and when Communism and socialism are mentioned, they are whitewashed and their detractors mocked. The far Left have turned His association with murdering ringleaders of urban terrorists had little meaning for most Americans.
That photo of the mom showing off her bare derriere would seem to indicate she fits your diagnosis.
It is old news that Obama was a Red Diaper Baby. His mother was a hippie/commie who made sure Obama was mentored by a known Communist. His father was a n African Communist/plygamist/Atheist with Commie ties. His grandparents were CPUSA members who moved to Hawaii to be close to their Commie friends.
I am amazed every day that someone like Obama, with his background and belief system, was able to game the system and fool more than 40% of the American people.
Never thought I would ever see the day that the man from nowhere, with no family, no roots, no history, and no documentation could be sitting in the Oval Office.
This also means that Conservatives are more and more isolated because idiots like Medved keep pushing, on the radio, to “grow” the party. This basically means more people from the left because people who are too conservative, like Ron Paul, are Nazified.
This dilutes the conservative base and these people who “were once liberals” seem to want that.
The conservatives in this country will be faced with a hard choice. Mark my words.
Maybe I'm wrong. Tell me.
