Honolulu City Councilmember Charles K. Djou (Waikiki, East Honolulu), a candidate for Hawaii’s 1st Congressional District, welcomed Ed Case’s declaration that he would run against Djou.

"I enjoyed serving with Ed in the State legislature and I know that he has had a difficult time deciding which seat to run for. I welcome the competition now that he has decided to run for the 1st Congressional district even though he represented the 2nd...."

Well at least the Republicans in Hawaii have found a candidate who has actually had balls enough to serve in uniform. Now, does he really have a chance?
