Who is this guy? Has he ever studied history? Read anything from the Founding Fathers?
I understand "freedom of religion", but should he be saying this in a Muslim country?
Oh... that's right! This is Barack Obama who hates America, hates capitalism and wants to destroy us from within!
This is nice; now he's attacking religion and our Judeo-Christian value system this country was built upon.

From the First Amendment:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion...”
We are not a Christian nation nor were we ever intended to be.

I used to wonder if he was truly evil or just an idiot. Im now convinced he is BOTH!After all, Obummer did say that a President should be able to do more than one thing at a time... ; )

When over 80% of Americans have traditionally identified themselves as “Christian”, that makes us a Christian nation. When every president in our nations history has been a Christian, I’d say that was a good indicator that we are a Christian country. When our founding documents and principles are based on Judeo-Christian teaching, we are a Christian nation.

“...based on Judeo-Christian teaching, we are a Christian nation.”
What happened to the Judeo part?
We are a nation of predominantly Christians.

In “God” we trust.
Not Allah or Buddah or any other god.
I guess you wanted also the removal of the tem commandments for the court rooms?

"We are not a Christian nation nor were we ever intended to be."
There is a distinct difference between establishment of a national religion (the prohibition of which was the obvious intent of the founders) and the acknowledgment of the Christian nature of the prevailing culture in this nation.
The First Amendment was intended to insure the free practice of various denominations of Christianity, not the secularization of society. The proof of this fact can be found in numerous references by those who wrote the Constitution, the Federalist Papers and the legacy of culture handed down for over two hundred years.
The notion of a totally secular society was purloined from the Soviet Constitution, which originated the statement and concept of "Separation of Church and State."

Please explain the contradiction.

Every couple hours another story crosses the wires where this motor mouth is saying something else to denigrate my country. I've noticed that and I keep muttering "Shut up, Obama!"
Just for the record, I consider the USA pretty much a Christian nation. We are the majority, are we not?
