Who is this guy? Has he ever studied history? Read anything from the Founding Fathers?
I understand "freedom of religion", but should he be saying this in a Muslim country?
Oh... that's right! This is Barack Obama who hates America, hates capitalism and wants to destroy us from within!
This is nice; now he's attacking religion and our Judeo-Christian value system this country was built upon.

While I believe the 10 Commandments are God's word, many of our citizens do not.
If we were a theocracy (thank God we are not) then they would be appropriate.
We are absolutely not a theocracy. But with most Americans choosing to be Christians on their own volition, we are a nation that is essentially Christian. Not by government fiat, but by choice.
A friend of mine, current U. S. Air force, told me the only reason this guy is still alive is Joe Biden. Pretty squirrely life insurance, if you ask me-!
Nope, still not there.
The clear intent was the free exercise of any religion. Otherwise, why were the Jews not forced out?
I suppose we should purge all those nasty Baha'i’s, Hindus, etc.
In your #23, you say we are not a Christian nation and in your #30 you say we are a predominantly Christian nation.
You don’t see the contradiction?
We who? Obama doesn’t speak for this Christian.
“We are not a theocracy and I hope we never become one.’
You sir, do not know which side your bread is buttered on.
To American Women - “Get out your burkas!”
Mark Steyn just said Hussein has apologized for America more in the last couple days than all the other presidents ever. What a POS and embarrassment to our country!
Excuse me. I am not a chr*stian, but I am a Theocrat because I believe in G-d.
If G-d exists, then the universe is a Theocracy. Right and wrong, just and injust, are determined by Divine decree.
On the other hand, if there is no G-d, then right and wrong, good and evil, just and unjust, do not exist since no human being or group of human beings (or even the human race as a whole) is competent to define these things.
When Mashiach comes (may he do so immediately), humanity will convert to a true Theocracy.
“I have no idea what that comment means, but thanks for taking the time.”
Idiom Definitions for ‘Know which side one’s bread is buttered on’ -— “If you know which side one’s bread is buttered on, you know where your interests lie and will act accordingly to protect or further them.”
I do hope everyone who eshews a theocracy understands that — Not a theocracy under Mohammad, but under Yeshua, a/k/a Jesus, Jesu, Issa.
Not a word about his bowing in the Houston Chronicle. BIG liberal rag..
I’m listening to Steyn too. Do we live in a bizarre world, or what? What in the world do we have to apologize for???
Absolutely not. Perhaps it’s a mater of definition, but to use the example: Malaysia is a Muslim nation, where Islam is enshrined as the national religion. Israel is the Jewish state. To me a nation is one that is governed by the precepts of the designated religion (which we generally are) to the exclusion of any other. Any any non-member of the prevailing religion is less a citizen and discriminated against. The ultimate arbiter of right and wrong is the clergy. Turkey, for example, is very specifically a secular nation, hence the occasional battles on head scarves in schools. Its army on several occasions has coupe’d to prevent the clergy from taking over the country. It is, however a nation generally populated by Muslims.
“We are not a Christian nation nor were we ever intended to be.”
Per the Constitution, we aren’t technically a Christian nation, but functionally, practically, and historically we are. To fully understand, a person needs to read writings of the founding fathers, Federalist Papers, etc. So... Hussein was wrong on that point. What can you expect, though, from a traitor?
Mr Obama was thinking about his birthplace, Kenya. It’s difficult for this Muslim to stay focused without his teleprompter constantly reminding him he’s TOTUS of the USA.
