I never thought I’d miss Bush this much and never imagined there could ever be someone worse than Clinton, but there it is.

BUSH THROWS RANGERS’ 1ST PITCH
ARLINGTON, Texas — Former President George W. Bush wound up his right arm with two windmill whirls, then fired a high strike to help the Texas Rangers start the season Monday.

In his first big appearance locally since moving to Dallas from the White House, Bush received a standing ovation and overwhelming cheers from a crowd of about 40,000 after the public address announcer said, “We welcome home the 43rd president.”

Who can forget when we had a real president.

It's been over 20 years. Some people weren't even born yet.

Yay! I was sure that if anyone would have the video, you would, and I was right!

I want to save it to watch over and over, when I’ve had enough of Zero running down our wonderful country! I get so mad!

Thank you for posting The Pitch from the 2001 World Series. This video showed him before he came on the field, which I’ve never seen before. He looked just as nervous as he claimed to be. What a strike! I’ll never forget it.

He’s still my president too! By the time Obozo gets done with this country even those who voted against W will wish they had the opportunity to vote for him. God bless W!

Thanks for the links. I watched them several times. Damn, now my keyboard is wet. I wonder how many of those cheering fans forgot 9/11 over the years and the bravery of our W? How many of them helped bring to fruition the dangerous evil leadership we have today? I’ll always be thankful for the 8 years we had of a REAL president and first lady

A big AMEN to that, Bahbah. I was just saying that to my husband last night, after watching the latest Obama outrages of the day on "Special Report with Bret Baier". Every day seems to get worse and worse with this Marxist at the helm of our beloved country...

Thanks for that link, FRiend. I think I need to watch that video over and over during the next 4 years (God forbid 8 years). That's the way American should be... America should be in a "9/12 state of mind" as Glenn Beck says every night on his FNC program.

That was an amazing World Series back in 2001. I'm a Red Sox fan, but even I was wildly rooting for the New York Yankees to win that year. I think Curt Schilling (of the AZ Diamondbacks) was the winning pitcher of the final WS game in Arizona, and even he said he felt a bit bad about beating the Yankees after 9/11...
