Richard Durrett: Just got back up to the press box from the field. I can tell you that former president George W. Bush got a huge ovation from the crowd. I wasn’t sure if it would be mixed, but it was no doubt a big cheer. Josh Hamilton caught Bush’s pitch, a little high but it looked like a strike to me, and asked Bush to sign the ball for him. The former president seemed to enjoy himself. His wife, Laura, and his daughters are in the front row where owner Tom Hicks usually sits. Also saw Jerry Jones down there. He’s talked to Hicks as we speak.

Nice day in Texas. It's cold, gloomy and rainy up here in Connecticut. TB Rays - Red Sox game at Fenway postponed until tomorrow due to heavy rain. Typical chilly, wet April baseball up here in the northeast...
