Our roads, bridges, and other infra-structure are crumbling. Our healthcare system is a disaster. Do you think this can be fixed with less money into the government coffers?

Yes. Every bit of it.

The country that started with a tax revolt now has people who call it un-American to resist taxation. I guess I’m supposed to just clap the chains on myself any day now.

What a childish idiot. I don’t even think he is American.

I don’t mind paying taxes, as long as they are reasonable. I *DO* mind them going to ACORN and the other trillions of dollars of pure pork.

This guy is dumber than a bag if hammers.

Most Americans that complain about too many taxes likely pays very little taxes themselves. Our roads, bridges, and other infra-structure are crumbling.

I pay over 50 cents a gallon on tax every time I put gas in my car. I also pay licensing taxes on my car and sales taxes on it.

Quit spending my tax dollars on ACORN and other things.

It is Un-American not to want to pay taxes

OK. Fine. Share the work instead of the wealth (the wealth will redistribute itself) and switch to a consumer tax. That way, ALL Americans, not just the employed right wing, can "share the burden."

It's unpatriotic for the welfare base not to contribute their labors to the country like everyone else, right?

Share the taxation!! Let's REALLY make it fair.

It’s amazing how anyone can say that publicly. Imagine the outrage if Bush said that!

If only we paid more taxes, all the stuff that this idiot mentions would get fixed, right? If I believed that for one instant, maybe I wouldn’t mind paying more taxes. Who the hell would by a product that might give you what you want, might not, and always goes up in price? This idiot can drop straight to the fifth ring and cook, for all I care.

Our healthcare system is a disaster.

To create a Socialist society, you have to destroy the society in existence first and rebuild it in your own image.

Health care was doing just fine until Hillary decided she wanted a government take over. It's gone down hill ever since. "Mission accomplished."

The idiot Marxist does have a good point, which he actually understates because he’s so busy peddling garbage.

Wage earners, laborers and salaried professionals can pay over 40% of their income in taxes, between state and local income tax, FICA and social security taxes. (Can we drop the idiocy and acknowledge that social security paycheck deductions are simply taxes?) Contrarily, heirs who simply leave their Daddy’s money in their investments and sip by the poolside pay only 15%.

Yet this 40% taxation, which cripples the economic freedom of 80% of Americans generates relatively little bang for the hardship it causes. Obama’s trillion-dollar spending spree could have eliminated federal income taxes for 80% of all Americans... altogether. Now go back an look at last year’s quarterly GDP figures. See that 2nd quarter growth amidst all the declines? That was President Bush refunding a median 10% of federal taxes. What impact would refunding 100% cause?

So, the argument is that because the systems and programs which are benefiting others can be better by throwing more money at them we must pay as much as possible?

And also our gripes about paying into this system is some way the reason that we are Un-American.

The Lack of logic in these statements is astounding.

There is too many skipped steps in that reasoning to suggest that our money is being spent efficiently, such that more money increases the effectiveness of these benefits.

There is also not a compelling reason to increase them such that they operate better than they already do.

There is more blatantly, an astounding lack of connection between disagreement about taxation and the un-patriotic, or un-american label.

In California, mending roads apparently costs $25 million a mile.

Which is ludicrous. You could gold-plate them for that.

So yes, paying taxes just props up Unions and incompetents. But I repeat myself.

If the politicians need more money, all they have to do is stop the social programs and put the democrat base to work. That’s all they have to do. They have a huge labor force out there that can be tapped. The ants are barely able to feed their own families. It’s about time everyone does their fair “share.”
