Are "the suits" looking for Rick Santelli's head?
General Electric CEO Jeffery Immelt, thought to be one of Keith Olbermann's biggest supporters, and NBC Universal President Jeff Zucker are reported to have called some of CNBC's on-air talent to a secret meeting at least if the The New York Post's Page Six column for April 16 has it right. The meeting was called to scold the cable yackers for being too harsh on the Obammessiah, with the duo ala Jeffs warning that CNBC is turning into "the Obama bashing network" and that the cable outlet is becoming "too conservative."
OK... now how did that lefty mantra go again? Doesn't it go that the media couldn't possibly be lefitwing because "the suits" that own the media are conservative corporate types? Once again it looks like the truth is a different animal than the leftist trope pretends.
After all, Immelt and Zucker can hardly be considered in the any way conservative yet they do happen to be corporate bigwigs. And in true leftwing fashion, they are trying to push CNBC even further left...

Santelli will be working at FOX soon?
If CNBC starts chopping, can I have Erin Burnett?
This same company runs MSNBC, right? What a laugh.
“CNBC is turning into `the Obama bashing network’.” Ramada
“Are you trying to be funny?” Topper
“No, if I were trying to be funny I would ask what you do if you came up against an elephant with three balls on him.” Ramada
“I don’t know ... “ Topper
“You walk him and pitch to the rhino.” Ramada
Predictable, see what billions in bailout money to GE will buy!
This is no surprise.
Too Conservative = Disagreeing with Obama on any issue.
That’s right, can’t have any dissent in America.
Can’t make Obama look bad.
Immelt and Zucker molest puppies. There can be no other explanation given their twisted world view.
Immelt has proven that everything he touches turns to crap. I will buy GE stock the day he is thrown out on his can. With the exception of Vikram Pandit, Immelt is probably the most incompetent CEO in the country.
This is, of course, the same network that puts Barfalo on Countdown to No ratings with Osama bin Olberman and thinks slandering the middle class is a good thing.
So...how those ratin’s holding up there for ya, Sparky?
Keep up the 0bama worship and abdicating any pretense of being a news organization and we will see the end of CNBC and MSNBC before 0bama leaves office due to lack of viewers. They will have to giving ads away before long. If nothing else, it should hurt GE in losing money on its TV ops.
GE remains high on my list of companies to boycott due to their political support. I also make note of advertisers who get none of my business.
Super secret meetings with msm he must be kidding.
Amazing Larry Kudlow still has a job there. Maria Bartiromo is intelligent and attractive. Outside of that, the network is pretty useless and going downhill from there.
As long as the Wigs at GE keep funding NBC’s losses, nothing is going to change at NBC, MSNBC, or CNBC. The same old liberal claptrap will coninue.
You simply DO NOT get a job today in most major media outlets without passing a political purity test.
And behind every camera you will find an ARMY of gay “Activists” who see the Democrat Party as thier only salvation.
ANYTHING Republican is HATE, because we Republicans, bitter, gun-toting, Bible-thumpin’ redneck bigots that we are, refuse to allow our children to be programmed that the gay lifestyle is something to be admired, not pity’d.
And as an article on FR from earlier this morning proves, the Republican Party wants this to go away, so they can get something close to a “fair shake” from the leftist media.
A: Even Pravda criticized the Pulitburo once in awhile.
$140 billion buys a lot of loyalty, not much integrity.
