Question: What legal options are open to the neighbors of sex offenders?
Sex Offender Blues:
She checks on the website.
Her neighbor's on top:
A male sex offender.
She calls up the cops.
But she has no charges,
And ex-cons have rights.
She thinks of her children.
Bolts her doors at night.
She drives past the bus stop
So close to his home,
Imagines her youngest
Out there all alone,
Decides to confront him
To ask what he did.
She thinks she might kill him
If he hurt a kid.
She knocks on the front door,
But soon runs away,
Puts her home up for sale
That very same day.

Your legal options are not nearly as effective as your illegal options.
Cop’s have been know to turn their heads.
“Puts her home home up for sale, that very same day”
Wow, cut and run instead of just being a good parent. Watch your kids, warn them, protect them by being there for them. Maybe start a movement, go to the state, get new laws enacted. This woman isn’t the only person with a sex offender in her neighborhood and now she advocates running in fear from them instead of just dealing with it.
So if she sells her house and moves a few towns over what then if a sex offender happens to be there or moves in the neighborhood there too? Is she going to just pick up and move again?
Whatever.
