Is Louis Caldera's Job on the Chopping Block Over NYC Flyover Fiasco?

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs has repeatedly refused to rule out Caldera's dismissal for authorizing Monday's Air Force One photo op fiasco that sent panicked New Yorkers running through the streets of lower Manhattan.

But the drumbeat for his dismissal seems to be growing louder. The national television media was all over it again this morning, and Gibbs called the photo-op "stupid" during a press briefing on Air Force One.

Gibbs was asked this morning if President Obama "regrets" anything during his first 100 days. Gibbs cited the flyover, and only the flyover. Not a good sign for Caldera.

And during his White House briefing yesterday, Gibbs left Caldera twisting in the wind.

In the article, it was also revealed that at least one politician, Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri, was on board - and taking pictures.

Gibbs referred to it again when someone asked about U.S. senators traveling on Air Force One this morning. Apparently, Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri was on board - and taking pictures.

So some journalist asked about "U.S. Senators" on board? Obviously, a planted question intended to deflect attention from others on board.

They think they can spin a Senator on board as on some official business and they're hoping that the entire "guest list" doesn't get out.

Undoubtedly includes "celebrity friends" (think P. Diddy, Oprah, Bruce Springsteen, etc.) and big donors. Maybe even a few bailout recipients, for giggles.

A disasterous embarrassment even the likes of the NY Times can't wish away. NBC will give it a good shot though.

Caldera should of never had the job to begin with. Caldera is another example of Barry’s staff systematically,repeatedly breaking the law and being members of terrorist groups.

Swing? Hell no. This Affirmative Action Clymer has a history of failing upwards. If he keeps up this kind of misfeasance, he'll probably be the VP candidate in 2012. In the meantime, look for him to take over from Nappy on the cabinet.
