Sheriff Richard Mack states this in his video and here is an exerpt followed by his video presentation: (more on his website) "My name is Richard Mack....the founding fathers established a system that would keep the federal government impotent. This is the time to reenact that. The 10th Amendment basically tells the federal government if you ever go outside Article I, Section 8 where the Constitution delineates and details what they can and cannot do, if they want to get creative, or if they want to expand the federal bureaucracy, or if they want to expand the power of the central government, they must refer to the 10th Amendment, which clearly states, ‘If we forgot anything, you can't do that, either.'

At least here in Mi. the sheriffs have to go the the FBI classes in Va. to be certified as such. Or yoy could say to be brainwashed into believing the the fed. gov’t is good local control of law enforcement is bad! It does not matter what the will of the people says or does!

It's too long to post, but here's a convenient link for those who want a refresher. I'm sending it to the neosocialist in our White House with a reminder that he promised to preserve, protect, and defend the document of which it is a part. Sadly, I doubt that he feels bound by that oath or by duty. Holding public office can, for those who don't deserve our trust, be an opportunity to exercise power over others instead of a responsibility to be met with honor.
Thank God for people like this. The Oath Keepers video brought me to tears. To know that the active military, veterans, sheriffs, etc are all together on this is overwhelming.

Says who? The Office of Sheriff is one derives its power directly from the Constitution. The FBI is nothing of the sort.
But modern power play politcs, works to remove local control and shift it to washington dc
Yeh right.
When you’ve been a cop your whole life and that’s all you know and given the choice of feeding and housing your family (all the while knowing that they will easily be replaced by someone else) vs. following the Constitution, we’ll see how many of these cops refuse their (illegal) orders.
My advice, don’t plan on the police or military to defend your God given rights.
And the cops in the LA riots rushed right in and quelled the mobs. Not a single store was looted or burned, nobody died and all the cops were awarded medals. And in Columbine, the brave cops charged into the high school and shot it out with Harris and Kiebold before they could harm a single student.
Oh hell there’s probably some Fed $ doled out to the State or County for having to put up with such BS.
No matter what ..... ALWAYS FOLLOW THE MONEY
The States act as tax collectors for the Feds.
What would happen if they didn't send all the money on to Washington ?
