Howard Dean Says America Has Had "Enough of Capitalism"; Advocates Carbon Tax - Video 5/7/09

Here is video of former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean today on CNBC where he made the statement, among other things, that "we have had enough capitalism the past 8 years; what we need now is some regulation." He made the comment just after the 4:38 mark of the video.

Dean was discussing with Jason Lewis the $17 Billion in Budget Cuts announced by President Obama out of a $3.55 Trillion 2010 Budget.

Dean at least was honest when he said this, and he also bluntly said that taxes (revenue increases he called them) will have to be raised. Dean said he felt it should be a "carbon" tax. Oh brother! . . . . . (Watch Video)

Well, at least he’s up front about it. Whether he speaks for all of America remains to be seen. Only time will tell.

Howard does prove one thing: He doesn't know what capitalism is or does he know how much we are already regulated.

All we have to do is apply the regs

50 Year-Old Cartoon Eerily Predicts The Future

The more things change, the more they remain the same, as shown by this video produced 50 years ago. Dr. Utopia promises the world - just give away your freedom and the government will take care of you forever.

It didn’t work then but learning from history is not allowed in our new ‘Dr. Utopia’s’ prescription for changing America.

Last portion of cartoon is especially prescient.

"we have had enough capitalism the past 8 years; what we need now is some regulation."

WTF good is regulation going to do when the Wall Street boyz are in Cabinet level positions, the Fed and in the government? It's a frakking con game to see who can scam the most out of the middle class as this point. Government with punitive taxes, Wall Street with crap pump and dump stock schemes and the Fed with buying POS treasuries with $$$ conjured out of the ether.

WE'RE BEING SCAMMED.
