Well I thought so too but first, I don’t think he is now denied entry to the US as he was on Jay Leno, in LA, when he performed the most beautiful song to which I refer.
And reading other comments on this thread there seems to be controversy over Stevens’ actions and comments. I admit to not being familiar with it all except that as I understand it, correct me if I am wrong, Cat Stevens, now Yusuf something, was denied entry to America because he was on the terrorist watch list.
I only know the song he sang and included in this Blog post is absolutely beautiful. Tastes in music vary wildly, understand, but it’s a pretty song.
I might pay a buck to get it off of Itunes for my Ipod but I sure don’t want to make a would-be terrorist rich. So I’d sure like to know the scoop about ole Yusuf.

Oh, I was a big Stevens fan back in his day, the 70’s I guess. I like his music. I have his greatest hits CD even now. It is just that I heard about his thing saying kill Ruskie or whatever the guy’s name was, and that he was a pro muzzie terrorist guy. Seems strange that he would change now.
