Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch was on FOX News this morning, discussing the Islamic conversions of US inmates . When Mr.Spencer tells the audience how the Saudis are behind much of the Islamic hatred being preached, Eric Shawn the news reporter cuts him right off in defense of the hate preaching Saudis.

Fox is around 15% owned by the Saudis. Robert Spencer is a hero.
I watched this segment this morning and I think you are being too harsh on Eric. I did not see any bow to the Saudis from Eric. You may see what you want I guess.
Why doesn’t the Southern Poverty Law Center ever point to radical Islamists as a hate group?
Watch it again, he clearly defended the Saudis. A bunch of people who left comments on Spencer’s site saw it the same way.
You are right, Obama is wrong. Them coming here just adds fuel to fire. The Gitmo prisoners are dying to come here to convert our inmates. Obama said that Gitmo is creating terrorists, but he will be creating them by allowing these preachers of hate here.
“They are not here to defend themselves”... But Eric was.

with jacket blurbs from Ann Coulter, NR’s Rich Lowry, Rudy Giuliani, etc.

I guess he doesn’t want to have trouble at work. Either that or he has been conned by Saudis. He could of just kept quiet.
I saw/heard that too and thought it was odd that he cut the guy off like he did.
Nonsense. Spencer mentioned Saudi funding at least 7 times throughout the interview of several minutes. The only cutting off was to wrap the segment at the end of the time, and to give Spencer a chance to give out his website.
Really, you might want to learn how to count. He said it 3 times throughout the whole video. Once was at the very beginning at then again at the 3:55 mark. As he went into more detail, Shawn said they are not here to defend themselves. That is clearly standing up for them. Sorry I prefer facts.
