Obama names appeals court judge Sonia Sotomayor as his first Supreme Court nominee, and like his first hundred days in office, the so-called “centrist” president has once again chosen the most far left option on the table as a replacement for the very disappointing Justice Souter.

High on the list of Obama’s Marxist agenda is “amnesty” for millions of illegal aliens currently bilking American taxpayers out of their future, via countless “free government services” and a laundry list of left-wing “affirmative action” initiatives that place race ahead of all other considerations.

“All seven Republicans will have to stand opposed ... “

The GOP’s dreaded `Fighting Lawnchairs’! Lots of clackety-clack noise, then they fold like, well, you know ...

In 2001, Sonia Sotomayor, an appeals court judge, gave a speech declaring that the ethnicity and sex of a judge “may and will make a difference in our judging.” - “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life,” said Judge Sotomayor.

That is pure racism. It doesn't get much more blatant than that.

“I would hope...”
____________

Is a conditional not a concrete statement.

It is still an expression of unadulterated racism.

I take the comment to focus more on differences in life experiences. I hope that the reaction to this nominee is not going to be so far over reaching that it ends up damaging conservatives. Real differences are valid points but trying to smear her or take comments out of context will make her a hero to the wrong people for the wrong reasons and make conservatives look like knee jerk bigo...., oh you know where this is going. I’m in know way a fan but since her confirmation is nearly a sure thing, why hurt ourselves.

You really want to hurt this candidate, have a few right wingers (Rush would have been good) come out in favor. Cite a few rulings that could be argued as conservatives and the lefties heads would explode.

It is a racist statement no matter what sophistry you try to parse it with. If you think that makes me a knee-jerk bigot ... so be it.
