I respectfully disagree that his utility as an idiot comes anywhere near balancing the damage he does when he makes crude comments about Governor Palin . He facade as a culture warrior is a stage entrance to run B roll teasers before every break , of the filth he pretends to combat .

Bill O. is an entertainer. Nothing more. Kudos for clubbing MSNBC like a baby seal on a nightly basis, I’ll always appreciate that. However, O’Reilly is not conservative - never has been, never will be. So, if he knocks FR, just shrug and walk away.
BOR admits he doesn’t look at the sites, he has “people” for that. And like he always does, he jumps to conclusions that fit his agenda and oversimplifies and ignores anything to the contrary. We’re best of ignoring him, at best he will drive traffic to FR to see what all the fuss is about.
A polite note to Amanda Carpenter, who is his go-to gal for internet stuff might be appropriate, as she knows the difference between sites like FR and truly hate-filled cesspools like Kos and DUmp, and she may be able to “spin” it a little more favorably. Not that BOR ever really lets her have her say...
Michelle Malkin has not appeared on the O'Reilly show in quite some time to the best of my knowledge.
Turning off my TV at 5:00 PM, I make sure the spin stops before I have to listen to it.. I used to watch O'Reilly faithfully, but IMHO lately it seems (to me) his opinions lean more and more leftward since the election.
Michelle Malkin is a class act, and like FR, she's got a daily must see website. Geraldo, on the other hand, is Fox station changing motivation (away from Fox).

I heard the comments and didn’t think he said anything anyone here should take offense to. He pulled out a comment on diabetes, and said that an individual posted it. The comment was very ugly, I would agree. One would have to have pretty thin skin to object to O’Reilly’s comments. I don’t always agree with O’Reilly, but he says what he thinks, and I like that.

Any website like this is going to be judged in the mainstream media by the most extreme and idiotic comments they can find posted here, and there are plenty. Probably a good reminder to not jump off the deep end in any of our postings.

I’ve heard him talk about such things before and the man knows little about the internet, searches, blogs, chats, threads etc.
That being said, his staff does and they should be telling him that FR is NOT a blog.
